No último mês, a Prefeitura Municipal de Iuiu celebrou um importante marco na Educação ao formalizar a Confirmação de Parceria para as turmas do Programa Universidade para Todos (PUP) de 2025. Essa iniciativa visa oferecer oportunidades de capacitação e apoio aos estudantes do 3º ano do Ensino Médio da rede pública municipal de Educação, preparando-os para o ingresso no Ensino Superior e os desafios do mercado de trabalho.
O Programa Universidade para Todos é uma iniciativa do Governo do Estado, através da Secretaria de Estado de Educação da Bahia, que busca democratizar o acesso ao Ensino Superior por meio de cursos preparatórios, acompanhamento pedagógico e orientação profissional. Desde sua criação, o Programa já beneficiou milhares de jovens em todo o Estado, e a parceria do município busca potencializar esse impacto localmente.
A prefeita do município, Nucivalda – Valdinha – América da Silva (PSD), destaca a importância da Educação para o desenvolvimento individual e coletivo, pontuando que investir na Educação é investir no futuro. Segundo a gestora, com a adesão ao Universidade para Todos, o Governo Municipal, reforçando o compromisso assumido com a população, quer garantir que os estudantes iuiuenses tenham acesso às mesmas oportunidades que seus pares em outros municípios da região e do Estado. Ele aponta ainda, que o talento e a dedicação dos estudantes iuiuenses não faltam, o que é preciso e a Administração Municipal está comprometida em assegurar, é proporcionar as ferramentas necessárias para que eles possam atingir seus objetivos.
Os participantes da iniciativa terão a chance de se preparar para os processos seletivos de ingresso no Ensino Superior, como o Exame Nacional do Ensino Médio (Enem). O Curso Preparatório do Universidade para Todos oferece uma ampla gama de disciplinas, incluindo Português, Redação, Matemática, Física, Química, Biologia, Literatura, Língua Estrangeira (Inglês ou Espanhol), História e Geografia. O objetivo do Programa é reforçar e aprofundar os conhecimentos adquiridos pelos alunos no Ensino Médio, preparando-os para os desafios dos vestibulares e do Enem.
Este passo estratégico – a adesão ao Programa Universidade para Todos – não apenas reforça o compromisso da Administração Municipal com a Educação, mas também representa uma luz no fim do túnel para muitos jovens que sonham com um futuro acadêmico brilhante e promissor. Com a certeza de que a Educação transforma vidas, a prefeita Nucivalda – Valdinha – América da Silva (PSD, destaca que esse esforço conjunto entre o Poder Público e a comunidade estudantil certamente renderá frutos valiosos para o desenvolvimento do município e de sua juventude.
O Governo Municipal pede a todos os interessados que fiquem atentos aos prazos de inscrição, que ocorrerão de 18 a 27 de março, exclusivamente pela internet, no site upt.educacao.ba.gov.br. A escolha dos participantes será feita através de um sorteio eletrônico, agendado para o dia 28 de março. Serão oferecidas 50 vagas para o município de Iuiú, e as aulas têm início previsto para o dia 14 de abril.
