Na última semana do mês de março, a presidente da Associação de Mulheres Empreendedoras e de Apoio à Economia Solidária do Estado da Bahia – Ames, de Brumado, Barbara Cristina Rodrigues Ramos, realizou uma maratona de visitas à Salvador, com o objetivo de angariar apoio para importantes pautas que afetam a vida de muitas mulheres no município. Entre as principais demandas, destacou-se a necessidade urgente da implantação de uma Casa de Acolhimento à Mulher Vítima de Violência Doméstica.
Durante sua jornada, Barbara Cristina, que foi vítima de uma relação abusiva e de violência doméstica, se reuniu com representantes do PSB de diversos municípios do Estado, durante a Plenária do mandato da Deputada Federal e presidente regional da legenda, Lídice da Mata e Souza, e dos Congressos Municipal (Salvador) e Estadual do PSB, realizados na sede da legenda, no Bairro Rio Vermelho, na capital do Estado.
Durante os encontros, Barbara Cristina destacou a preocupante realidade da violência doméstica, que, conforme dados recentes, tem aumentado de maneira alarmante em todo o Brasil, com especial ênfase na Bahia e em Brumado. Essa situação reforça sua proposta de criação de uma Casa de Acolhimento na cidade.. “É fundamental que possamos oferecer um espaço seguro e acolhedor para aquelas que sofrem em silêncio. Uma Casa de Acolhimento pode ser o primeiro passo para a recuperação e reintegração dessas mulheres na sociedade”, enfatizou Barbara Cristina ao JS.
Nas reuniões, Barbara Cristina apresentou propostas concretas para a construção e funcionamento da Casa de Acolhimento em Brumado, destacando a importância de parcerias com os Governos Federal e do Estado, além de contar com o suporte de organizações não governamentais. “Estamos buscando não apenas o apoio financeiro, mas também a sensibilização da sociedade sobre a gravidade dessa questão”, ponderou.
Barbara Cristina também compartilhou histórias emocionantes de mulheres que superaram situações de violência e ressaltou a importância de um espaço que garanta proteção, atendimento psicológico e jurídico. Sua determinação e empatia sensibilizaram as lideranças do PSB baiano que se mostraram receptivos às ideias apresentadas.
Ao final da semana, a presidente da Associação de Mulheres Empreendedoras e de Apoio à Economia Solidária do Estado da Bahia – Ames, de Brumado, Barbara Cristina Rodrigues Ramos, que foi eleita Secretária das Mulheres Socialistas do PSB baiano, retornou a Brumado com perspectivas promissoras perspectivas de apoio às pautas apresentadas. “Essa é apenas a primeira etapa de uma longa jornada. Vamos continuar lutando até que a Casa de Acolhimento se torne uma realidade, porque cada mulher merece viver com dignidade e segurança.”
A maratona de visitas não apenas fortaleceu as relações da Associação com lideranças políticas do PSB baiano, mas também reafirmou a importância da solidariedade e do ativismo em prol dos direitos das mulheres. Com esperança e coragem, Barbara Cristina e sua equipe seguem firmes na missão de transformar a realidade de muitas mulheres vítimas de violência em Brumado.
