Eu ia escrever sobre o Dia da Árvore, que já passou, mas como essa instituição de vida tem tudo a ver com a primavera, que acabou de começar, vamos falar da estação mais bonita do ano. E não foi só pelas flores tantas a enfeitar os caminhos que me dei conta que a primavera chegou. Minha amiga Irene, do Rio Total, envia mensagem me perguntando o que houve com minha página em Escritores e Poetas daquele portal, pois conta com mais de duas mil visitas. Numa de ano anterior, foram mais de cinco mil visitas. Fiquei tão feliz com o sucesso de meus poemas sobre a primavera, que resolvi falar da nova estação.
Aliás, a passarada, com suas cantorias maviosas nas minhas manhãs não me deixariam esquecer, mesmo que eu não olhasse para fora. Eles é que me despertam toda manhã. Então deixo meu mamoeiro do jardim carregado sem colher os mamões maduros, reservando-os para meus amigos alados.
De maneira que não me furto a cantar aos quatro ventos a beleza dos ipês, majestosos, travestidos de sol, espalhando luz e cor e enchendo meus olhos extasiados. Não posso deixar de mencionar as orquídeas, exalando perfume e exibindo suas cores. Não posso esquecer as onze horas, os girassóis, as petúnias, as primaveras, os amores-perfeitos, as azaleias e tantas outras flores enfeitando jardins por todas as cidades.
O jacatirão de jardim, ou manacá-da-serra, já floresceu maravilhosamente, embora algumas árvores ainda exibam alguma cor remanescente. Mas no norte e nordeste de Santa Catarina, no próximo mês, começa a florescer o jacatirão nativo, aquele que ninguém plantou, que nasceu livre na floresta, nas encostas, nos caminhos. O verde das suas folhas começará a desaparecer em meio a tanta flor de cor branca, vermelha e vinho, pontilhando toda a mata com ilhas de tons avermelhados.
E a primavera vai enfeitando esse mundo de Deus, desabrochando jacatirões e manacás-da-terra (jacatirão de inverno), como se fora enfeite para a chegada do Natal e do novo ano que despontará.
Então, agora que parece que finalmente o inverno foi embora, levando com ele o frio, a solidão, a saudade, eu agradeço à Mãe Natureza por deixar vir a nós a primavera para vestir a terra de flores, de verde e de cores. Mesmo que ela venha com chuva.
Vem, primavera e traz contigo a paz, a melodia do cantar dos passarinhos, e a flor do jacatirão…
