O Projeto de Concessão das Rodovias BR-116 e BR-324 na Bahia, apresentado na quarta-feira (9) em Brasília, abrange reivindicações prioritárias de Vitória da Conquista e região, como a construção de viadutos e rotatórias nas proximidades do Anel Viário de Vitória da Conquista, conforme informou o ministro de Estado dos Transportes, José Renan Vasconcelos Calheiros Filho. Essa inclusão foi celebrada como uma grande conquista pelo Deputado Federal Waldenor Alves Pereira Filho (PT/BA), que participou da reunião ao lado do governador Jerônimo Rodrigues Souza (PT), juntamente com representantes da Agência Nacional de Transportes Terrestres (Antt), da Secretaria de Estado de Infraestrutura de Transporte, Energia e Comunicação da Bahia e de parlamentares da bancada federal baiana.
No encontro, foram exibidos os estudos técnicos referentes à chamada Rota 2 de Julho, que contempla a concessão e modernização de mais de 500 km de estradas. A expectativa é que, com a finalização dos estudos e a definição do modelo, o Projeto siga para a etapa de Concessão.
“A excelente notícia que o ministro (de Estado dos Transportes) nos deu foi que as demandas urgentes da nossa cidade e região foram acolhidas no Projeto. Entre elas, estão a construção de viadutos e rotatórias no entorno do Anel Viário de Vitória da Conquista, propostas levadas por nosso mandato, vereadores e lideranças regionais durante as audiências públicas em Vitória da Conquista, Feira de Santana e Salvador”, destacou o Deputado Waldenor Pereira.
O parlamentar tem se dedicado intensamente a assegurar melhorias no trecho da BR-116 que atravessa o Sudoeste baiano, apresentando essas demandas diretamente ao ministro de Estado Chefe da Casa Civil da Presidência da República, Rui Costa dos Santos, e ao líder do Governo no Senado, Jaques Wagner – ambos ex-governadores da Bahia e aliados fundamentais na defesa dos interesses do Estado.
