Sistema abrange 23,4 milhões de contribuintes

A partir desta quinta-feira (2) e até o último dia útil (31) de janeiro, o Portal do Simples Nacional estará disponível para que contribuintes que desejam ingressar ou reingressar no regime possam fazer o pedido.
Em nota, a Receita Federal destacou que a opção está disponível para contribuintes excluídos do Simples Nacional em 2024 e que desejam retornar ao regime, incluindo os que não regularizaram débitos vinculados aos Termos de Exclusão enviados entre os dias 30 de setembro e 4 de outubro.
Todos os 1.876.334 contribuintes que receberam o termo e regularizaram seus débitos no prazo previsto na legislação, segundo a autarquia, continuarão no regime do Simples de forma automática. Não é necessário, portanto, renovar a opção.
Já os 1,5 milhão de contribuintes que não regularizaram sua situação começaram a ser excluídos do regime, segundo a Receita, a partir da última quarta-feira (1º). Para que esses CNPJs possam reingressar no regime, são oferecidas diversas opções para sua regularização, incluindo parcelamento e transação.

Para saber se será excluído ou não do Simples Nacional, o contribuinte deve acessar a aba Consulta Optantes. “Entretanto, imprescindível observar que o CNPJ, para ingressar ou reingressar no Simples, deve estar em regularidade com as administrações tributárias da União, estados, DF e municípios”, esclareceu a Receita Federal.
Dados da autarquia mostram que, atualmente, 23,4 milhões de contribuintes são abrangidos pelo Simples Nacional, sendo 16 milhões microempreendedores individuais (MEI). A Receita projeta, até 31 de janeiro, um número de pedidos formulados compatível com os anos anteriores – em torno de 1,2 milhão de contribuintes.
