Mais de 1,86 milhão de declarações do Imposto de Renda Pessoa Física (IRPF) de 2024 foram entregues nas 32 primeiras horas do prazo. A Receita Federal começou a receber os documentos, que têm como ano-base 2023, às 8h desta sexta-feira (15) e o prazo para entrega se encerra no dia 31 de maio deste ano.
Segundo o Ministério da Fazenda, 88% das declarações entregues até as 16h deste sábado (16) terão direito a receber restituições da Receita Federal, enquanto 6,6% terão que pagar e 5,3% não têm imposto devido. A maioria dos documentos foi preenchida a partir do programa de computador (74,1%), mas os contribuintes também recorreram ao site (16,5%) ao aplicativo (9,5%).
A declaração pré-preenchida foi utilizada por 46,4% dos contribuintes que já entregaram o documento à Receita Federal. Já a opção de declaração simplificada responde por 57,7% das entregas.
A estimativa da Receita Federal é receber, até o fim do prazo, 43 milhões de declarações. Declarar o imposto de renda é obrigatório para pessoas que tiveram, em 2023, rendimentos tributáveis a partir de R$ 30.639,90; que tiveram rendimentos isentos ou de tributação exclusiva de mais de R$ 200 mil; que tiveram receita bruta acima de R$ 153.199,50 em atividades rurais; que possui bens e direitos avaliados em mais de R$ 800 mil e que tenham operações em bolsa a partir de R$ 40 mil.
