Micro e Pequenas Empresas foram as mais afetadas; especialista analisa cenário macroeconômico e destaca a gestão contábil como aliada na saúde financeira dos negócios

O Brasil registrou, em 2024, um recorde histórico no número de pedidos de recuperação judicial. Foram 2.273 solicitações, um aumento de 61,8% em relação a 2023, superando a marca mais alta até então, registrada em 2016, quando o país contabilizou 1.863 pedidos. Dados da Serasa Experian apontam que as Micro e Pequenas Empresas (MPE) foram as mais impactadas.
Mais da metade (1.676) dos pedidos de recuperação judicial registrados no Brasil em 2024 partiram de MPEs. As médias e grandes empresas também apresentaram crescimento nos pedidos, totalizando 416 e 181, respectivamente. Entre os setores, o de Serviços (928) liderou as solicitações, seguido pelo setor de Comércio (575). Em contrapartida, os pedidos de falência tiveram uma leve queda de 3,5% em relação a 2023.
Ainda segundo o levantamento, as elevadas taxas de juros, aliadas a um cenário de inflação acima da meta de 4,5%, foram determinantes para o endividamento das empresas e o consequente aumento dos pedidos de recuperação judicial. Cenário que, de acordo com o diretor da Rui Cadete, Gustavo Vieira, evidencia, entre outros fatores, a necessidade de uma gestão contábil eficiente para garantir a sustentabilidade dos negócios.
“A contabilidade vai muito além de cumprir obrigações fiscais. Ela precisa ser um pilar estratégico dentro da empresa, fornecendo informações precisas e embasadas para a tomada de decisões. Um planejamento financeiro bem estruturado permite antecipar desafios, identificar oportunidades de redução de custos e garantir uma gestão mais saudável. Sem esse suporte, muitas empresas acabam entrando em um ciclo de endividamento que, em longo prazo, pode levar à necessidade de recuperação judicial”, explica o especialista.
Nos últimos anos, marcas conhecidas recorreram à recuperação judicial como alternativa para enfrentar crises financeiras. Entre os casos mais recentes, estão Avon e Gol Linhas Aéreas, que entraram com pedido nos Estados Unidos, além das brasileiras Americanas, Casas Bahia, 123 Milhas, Oi, Marisa, Nexpe (antiga Brasil Brokers) e Tok&Stok. Mais recentemente, a Bombril também teve seu pedido de recuperação judicial aceito pela Justiça.
O diretor da Rui Cadete destaca a abordagem da chamada “contabilidade construtiva”, que se baseia na análise contábil aprofundada e na construção de cenários financeiros mais sustentáveis. “Muitas empresas chegam ao ponto de pedir recuperação judicial porque faltou planejamento e controle adequado ao longo do tempo. A contabilidade construtiva trabalha para evitar que os problemas financeiros se agravem a esse ponto”, acrescenta.
Gustavo Vieira reforça ainda que, embora a recuperação judicial seja uma ferramenta importante, ela não pode ser vista como solução definitiva. “Uma empresa em dificuldades precisa repensar sua gestão financeira e operacional. O acompanhamento contábil não deve acontecer apenas em momentos de crise, mas como parte de uma estratégia contínua de crescimento e estabilidade”, finaliza.
