O deputado federal Waldenor Pereira (PT-BA) se reuniu no último dia 15 com o Superintendente de Infraestrutura de Transportes da Secretaria de Estado de Infraestrutura de Transporte, Energia e Comunicação da Bahia, Saulo Filinto Pontes de Souza, para tratar de duas demandas antigas do município de Caculé: a pavimentação do trecho da Rodovia BA-617 (Caculé/Condeúba) e do trecho DA Rodovia que liga a sede municipal e o Distrito de Várzea Grande.
A articulação ganhou força após a participação do parlamentar no 3º Festival do Maracujá, realizado em Várzea Grande, no último dia 13. Durante o evento, Waldenor Pereira conversou com o prefeito Pedro – Pedrão – Dias da Silva (PSB), o vice-prefeito Willian Lima Gonçalves (PSB) e lideranças locais, que reiteraram a urgência das obras para o desenvolvimento da região.
De acordo com Saulo Pontes, o Projeto de pavimentação dos 50 km da Rodovia Caculé/Condeúba passou por ajustes técnicos, com previsão de conclusão até novembro. Já o trecho de 21 km entre Caculé (sede municipal) e o Distrito de Várzea Grande teve a elaboração do Projeto autorizada, com entrega prevista para dezembro. A obra é considerada estratégica para o deslocamento da população e o escoamento da produção agrícola, especialmente da cadeia do maracujá.
“Estamos acompanhando de perto essas duas reivindicações históricas que defendemos, junto com o deputado estadual Zé Raimundo (José Raimundo Fontes, do PT). São fundamentais para o fortalecimento da economia regional. Vamos continuar cobrando e articulando para que saiam do papel o quanto antes”, afirmou Waldenor Pereira.
