O Conselho Nacional de Trânsito (Contran) aprovou nesta segunda-feira (1º) a resolução que simplifica o processo de obtenção da Carteira Nacional de Habilitação (CNH). A medida retira a obrigatoriedade de passar por uma autoescola antes de fazer as provas de direção
Segundo o Ministério dos Transportes, as medidas podem reduzir em até 80% o custo total da CNH.
As novas regras passam a valer a partir da publicação da resolução no Diário Oficial da União.

Abertura do processo
- Poderá ser feita pelo site do Ministério dos Transportes ou pelo aplicativo da Carteira Digital de Trânsito (CDT).
Aulas teóricas
- O Ministério dos Transportes irá disponibilizar todo o conteúdo teórico online, gratuitamente.
- Quem preferir poderá estudar presencialmente em autoescolas ou instituições credenciadas.
Aulas práticas
- A exigência de aulas práticas passará das atuais 20 horas-aula para 2 horas.
- O candidato poderá escolher entre: autoescolas tradicionais, instrutores autônomos credenciados pelos Detrans ou preparações personalizadas.
- Será permitido uso de carro próprio para as aulas práticas
Provas
- Mesmo sem a obrigatoriedade das aulas, o condutor ainda é obrigado a fazer as provas teórica e prática para obter a CNH.
- Outras etapas obrigatórias como coleta biométrica e exame médico devem ser feitas presencialmente no Detran.
Instrutores
- Os instrutores autônomos serão autorizados e fiscalizados pelos órgãos estaduais, com critérios padronizados nacionalmente.
- A identificação e o controle serão integrados à Carteira Digital de Trânsito.
