Novo salário mínimo e reajuste de faixas salariais garantem benefício ajustado à inflação

O Ministério do Trabalho e Emprego (MTE) atualizou a tabela anual utilizada para o cálculo dos valores do seguro-desemprego, com vigência a partir de 11 de janeiro de 2025.
Com isso, o valor do benefício do seguro-desemprego não será inferior ao salário mínimo vigente, atualmente fixado em R$ 1.518,00. Já os trabalhadores com salários médios superiores a R$ 3.564,96 receberão, de forma fixa, o teto do benefício, estabelecido em R$ 2.424,11.
O reajuste das faixas salariais para o cálculo do seguro-desemprego considera a variação do Índice Nacional de Preços ao Consumidor (INPC), calculado pelo Instituto Brasileiro de Geografia e Estatística (IBGE). Em 2024, o acumulado dos 12 meses anteriores ao reajuste foi de 4,77%.
A atualização do benefício atende aos requisitos previstos na Lei nº 7.998, de 1990, que regula o Programa do Seguro-Desemprego, e na Resolução nº 957, de 2022, do Conselho Deliberativo do Fundo de Amparo ao Trabalhador (CODEFAT).
Faixas de Salário Médio necessárias ao cálculo do benefício seguro-desemprego – Cálculo da Parcela
· Até R$ 2.138,76 – Multiplica-se o salário médio por 0,8
· De R$ 2.138,77 até R$ 3.564,96 – O que exceder a R$ 2.138,76 multiplica-se por 0,5 e soma-se com R$ 1.711,01
· Acima de R$ 3.564,96 – O valor será invariável de R$ 2.424,11
· O valor do benefício do seguro-desemprego não será inferior ao valor do salário mínimo de R$ 1.518,00 vigente para o ano de 2025.
Quem tem direito?
Tem direito ao benefício o trabalhador ou trabalhadora que:
- Tiver sido dispensado sem justa causa;
- Estiver desempregado, quando do requerimento do benefício;
- Ter recebido salários de pessoa jurídica ou pessoa física equiparada à jurídica (inscrita no CEI) relativos a
- pelo menos 12 (doze) meses nos últimos 18 (dezoito) meses imediatamente anteriores à data de dispensa, quando da primeira solicitação;
- pelo menos 9 (nove) meses nos últimos 12 (doze) meses imediatamente anteriores à data de dispensa, quando da segunda solicitação; e
- cada um dos 6 (seis) meses imediatamente anteriores à data de dispensa, quando das demais solicitações;
- Não possuir renda própria para o seu sustento e de sua família;
- Não estiver recebendo benefício de prestação continuada da Previdência Social, exceto pensão por morte ou auxílio-acidente.
Como solicitar?
O benefício pode ser solicitado nas Superintendências Regionais do Trabalho e Emprego (SRTEs), no Sistema Nacional de Emprego (SINE), pelo Portal GOV.BR ou por meio do aplicativo Carteira de Trabalho Digital.
