Em uma iniciativa que busca fortalecer a gestão ambiental e garantir a segurança hídrica na região, o Consórcio Público de Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Território Bacia do Paramirim realizou, no último dia 8, o I Seminário Territorial de Gestão Ambiental Compartilhada (GAC). O evento ocorreu no Centro de Cultura do município de Érico Cardoso e contou com o apoio de órgãos estaduais, federais, Instituições Públicas e a sociedade civil, tendo como palestrante o Engenheiro Nelton Miguel Friedrich, Diretor do Departamento de Revitalização de Bacias Hidrográficas e Planejamento em Segurança Hídrica do Ministério das Integração e do Desenvolvimento Regional.
Entre os presentes ao evento, os prefeitos de Érico Cardoso, Eraldo Félix da Silva (Republicanos) – presidente do Público de Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Território Bacia do Paramirim, que presidiu o Seminário – Caturama (Antônio – Tõe – Leão Bonfim, do PSD), Oliveira dos Brejinhos (Cleriston Uaide – Ferrugem – Reis Guedes Pereira, do PT), Paramirim (João Ricardo Brasil Matos, do Avante) e Rio do Pires (José Marcos Pereira, do Avante); vice-prefeitos, secretários municipais e técnicos da área ambiental. Também estiveram presentes, além do palestrante Nelton Miguel Friedrich, o Promotor de Justiça Jailson Neves Trindade, titular da Promotoria Regional Especializada em Meio Ambiente, sediada em Guanambi; o presidente da Companhia de Engenharia Hídrica e de Saneamento da Bahia (Cerb), autarquia estadual vinculada à Secretaria de Infraestrutura Hídrica e Saneamento da Bahia, Jayme Vieira Lima, e do vereador paramiriense e presidente do Comitê Hidrográfico das Bacias do Rio Paramirim e Santo Onofre, Anselmo Barbosa Caires (PSD), entre outros, que juntamente com os gestores e técnicos municipais debateram estratégias para a revitalização das nascentes do Rio Paramirim e a preservação das matas ciliares. O foco principal foi a implementação de políticas públicas efetivas para a conservação dos recursos hídricos, em especial, a proteção das cerca de trinta e sete nascentes em diversas comunidades rurais de Érico Cardoso, entre as quais as de Barra de Cima, Rio da Caixa, Paramirim das Crioulas (Comunidade Quilombola), Morro do Fogo (Comunidade de Garimpo) e Bom Jesus, que abastecem o Rio Paramirim e a Barragem do Zabumbão, uma das prioridades na agenda regional.
O evento foi conduzido pelo presidente do Consórcio Público de Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Território Bacia do Paramirim, prefeito de Érico Cardoso, Eraldo Félix da Silva (Republicanos), que destacou a importância de ações integradas para o desenvolvimento sustentável da Bacia Hidrográfica. “Precisamos atuar com responsabilidade e união para garantir que as futuras gerações tenham acesso à água de qualidade. Este Seminário marca um passo importante nessa direção”, afirmou o gestor.
Durante a programação, o Promotor de Justiça Jailson Neves Trindade, titular da Promotoria Regional Especializada em Meio Ambiente, sediada em Guanambi, reforçou a urgência de políticas públicas que promovam a proteção do ecossistema regional. Ele ressaltou a importância da participação comunitária e da governança territorial na preservação ambiental, defendendo ações integradas e o fortalecimento do papel do Ministério Público na fiscalização e implementação de medidas sustentáveis.
Outro destaque foi a fala do vereador paramiriense e presidente do Comitê Hidrográfico das Bacias do Rio Paramirim e Santo Onofre, Anselmo Barbosa Caires (PSD), que afirmou que o Seminário foi crucial para estimular a conscientização e o envolvimento de todos. “A preservação das nascentes, a recuperação das matas ciliares e a adoção de práticas sustentáveis na agricultura e no manejo de resíduos são essenciais para garantir a sobrevivência dos recursos hídricos na nossa região”, destacou.
O prefeito de Érico Cardoso e presidente do Consórcio Público de Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Território Bacia do Paramirim, Eraldo Félix da Silva (Republicanos), destacou a importância de refletir sobre o papel da água na preservação da vida. Ele lembrou que a Adutora do Zabumbão, localizada em Paramirim, abastece cerca de 300 mil pessoas. Segundo Eraldo Félix, é fundamental que gestores e lideranças políticas assumam responsabilidades com a sustentabilidade hídrica e a preservação dos recursos naturais da região.
Ao final do evento, foi firmado o Pacto pela Proteção e Recuperação das Nascentes de Água Quente (Érico Cardoso), um compromisso coletivo entre os municípios, órgãos estaduais, o Ministério Público e Instituições parceiras. O acordo prevê ações concretas de recuperação ambiental, fiscalização e Educação Ambiental, visando a preservação das fontes de água que abastecem a região.
Este momento representou um avanço na agenda de sustentabilidade local e regional, consolidando a cooperação entre diferentes setores e reforçando o compromisso de proteger os recursos hídricos do Território Bacia do Paramirim. “A semente foi plantada. Nosso trabalho continua para garantir que a água continue a fluir e sustentar as nossas comunidades por muitas gerações”, pontuou Anselmo Barbosa Caires, uma das mais respeitadas lideranças ambientalistas da macrorregião.

Como parte das atividades do I Seminário Territorial de Gestão Ambiental Compartilhada (GAC), o presidente do Consórcio Público de Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Território Bacia do Paramirim e atual prefeito de Érico Cardoso, Eraldo Félix da Silva (Republicanos), liderou uma comitiva de autoridades e lideranças regionais em visita técnica às nascentes dos afluentes do Rio Paramirim, situadas no território do município.
A iniciativa teve como principal objetivo observar presencialmente a relevância desses mananciais para o equilíbrio ambiental da região e o fornecimento de água para a população local e da macrorregião. Segundo o gestor, a visita ter objetivo sensibilizar as instâncias governamentais quanto à urgência de medidas eficazes para conservar e revitalizar esses recursos hídricos.
Entre os participantes, destacou-se a presença de Nelton Miguel Friedrich, Diretor do Departamento de Revitalização de Bacias Hidrográficas e Planejamento em Segurança Hídrica do Ministério da Integração e do Desenvolvimento Regional, além de representantes municipais, membros do Comitê Hidrográfico das Bacias dos rios Paramirim e Santo Onofre e técnicos do consórcio. Estiveram presentes também o presidente do Comitê Hidrográfico, Anselmo Barbosa Caires, e os Secretários Executivos do Consórcio Público de Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Território Bacia do Paramirim e do Comitê Hidrográfico das Bacias do Rio Paramirim e Santo Onofre, respectivamente Leonardo Costa Santos e Almacks Luiz Silva.
A comitiva percorreu pontos estratégicos como o Sistema de Captação de Água que abastece Érico Cardoso e visitou o Poção, conhecido ponto turístico de águas termais. Na ocasião, foram apresentados os desafios enfrentados na preservação das nascentes e dos sistemas de captação, incluindo preocupações com o abastecimento da Barragem do Zabumbão, responsável por fornecer água para aproximadamente 300 mil pessoas.
Governo da Bahia anuncia investimentos em obras de infraestrutura hídrica na região

O Governo do Estado, através da Secretaria de Infraestrutura Hídrica e Saneamento da Bahia, por meio da Companhia de Engenharia Hídrica e de Saneamento da Bahia (Cerb), revelou planos de reforçar as obras do Sistema Integrado da Adutora do Zabumbão. A iniciativa visa melhorar o abastecimento de água para mais de 10 municípios da macrorregião, beneficiando cerca de 144 mil habitantes com água tratada. A informação foi transmitida pelo presidente da autarquia estadual, Jayme Vieira Lima, durante sua participação no I Seminário Territorial de Gestão Ambiental Compartilhada (GAC), promovido pelo Consórcio Público de Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Território Bacia do Paramirim, no último dia 8, em Érico Cardoso.
Durante o evento, Jayme Vieira Lima destacou também o progresso nas obras da Barragem do Rio da Caixa, que irá ampliar a capacidade de armazenamento de água na região. A estrutura beneficiará os municípios de Rio do Pires, Macaúbas, Ibipitanga, Ibitiara, Boquira e Oliveira dos Brejinhos. A intervenção, que está sendo executada pela Cerb, reforçará o Sistema de Abastecimento de Água (Siaa), cujo manancial principal é atualmente a Barragem do Zabumbão, responsável pelo fornecimento desde a sede de Paramirim até Oliveira dos Brejinhos, incluindo comunidades ao longo das Adutoras do Sistema.
Além disso, o presidente da Cerb anunciou que o Projeto de Implantação do Sistema de Esgotamento Sanitário de Érico Cardoso já está em fase de preparação para a abertura do processo licitatório. A expectativa é que a Ordem de Serviço para o início das obras seja assinada em 2026, marcando um avanço significativo na melhoria do saneamento básico na região.
Por fim, Jayme Vieira Lima ressaltou a importância do apoio e do trabalho desenvolvido pelo prefeito de Érico Cardoso, Eraldo Félix da Silva (Republicanos), na liderança do movimento regional de proteção e preservação do ecossistema regional, reforçando o compromisso conjunto com o desenvolvimento sustentável da macrorregião.
