Agora é oficial: o cidadão ganhou voz direta no controle do dinheiro público. O Tribunal de Contas da União (TCU) lançou esta semana a Plataforma do Cidadão, um portal digital que promete aproximar a população das decisões sobre as fiscalizações realizadas pelo órgão.
A grande novidade é a possibilidade de votar em temas que serão auditados pelo TCU. Já está no ar a primeira consulta pública, com 15 áreas prioritárias — entre elas Saúde, Educação, Segurança e Habitação. Os assuntos mais votados vão integrar a pauta oficial do Tribunal e cinco auditorias já serão iniciadas com base nessas escolhas ainda em 2025.
Para participar, basta acessar cidadao.tcu.gov.br com login gov.br. Além de votar, é possível acompanhar o andamento das ações, comentar, curtir e até conversar diretamente com a Ouvidoria do TCU. A consulta ficará aberta até o dia 27 de junho.
Inspirada em uma iniciativa semelhante na Corte de Contas da França, a Plataforma é intuitiva, com vídeos, perguntas e respostas e linguagem acessível. O que para o presidente da Corte, Vital do Rêgo, é um passo decisivo para transformar o TCU no verdadeiro Tribunal do Cidadão.
“Colocando as pessoas no centro de tudo que fazemos. Assim, manteremos viva a conexão para transformar o cidadão em parceiro permanente do controle externo”, afirmou. Segundo ele, a proposta é tornar o controle externo mais transparente, inclusivo e alinhado às demandas reais da população.
A plataforma também permite ativar alertas para acompanhar os temas selecionados e se cadastrar para receber atualizações sobre futuras consultas e fiscalizações. Com essa inovação, o TCU reforça sua agenda de 2025-2026, focada em participação social e transparência.
Primeiras respostas
A votação fica aberta até o dia 17 de junho para que a população escolha os principais problemas que devem ser fiscalizados ainda este ano. Entre os 15 temas pré-selecionados estão áreas como Saúde, Educação, Segurança Pública, Habitação, Meio Ambiente, Energia e Inclusão Digital. Os cinco tópicos mais votados serão priorizados nas auditorias a partir do segundo semestre.
Ao participar, o cidadão pode relatar por que considera determinado tema relevante para sua comunidade. Também é possível acompanhar todas as etapas do processo — desde o resultado da votação até a fiscalização em campo e o julgamento final — por e-mail. Para votar, basta acessar a Plataforma do Cidadão no site do TCU e fazer login com cadastro próprio ou por meio do gov.br.
