Atendimento e serviços vão ter funcionamento diferenciado durante os feriados de Natal e Ano Novo

Os atendimentos presenciais em agências bancárias estão cada vez mais raros, impulsionados pelo uso de aplicativos das instituições financeiras. Ainda assim, há situações — e clientes — para as quais a tecnologia não resolve, tornando necessária a ida até uma agência.
Neste fim de ano, esse público precisa ficar atento às mudanças no funcionamento dos bancos. De acordo com a Federação Brasileira de Bancos (Febraban), não haverá atendimento presencial nem compensação bancária, como Transferências Eletrônicas Disponíveis (TED), nos dias 25 e 31 de dezembro e em 1º de janeiro.
Na véspera de Natal, em 24 de dezembro, o atendimento ao público será reduzido, das 9h às 11h, pelo horário de Brasília. Nos estados com uma ou duas horas de diferença em relação à capital federal, o funcionamento ocorrerá das 8h às 10h.
O atendimento volta ao horário normal nos dias 26 de dezembro e 2 de janeiro, exceto em localidades onde haja feriado regional. Para quem deixar para resolver pendências no fim do ano, o dia 30 de dezembro será o último de 2025 com expediente bancário regular.
No caso do Pix, não há mudanças: o sistema funciona 24 horas por dia, todos os dias da semana, inclusive feriados, sem interrupção.
Contas e tributos
As contas de consumo — como água, energia elétrica e telefone — com vencimento em 25 e 31 de dezembro ou em 1º de janeiro poderão ser pagas no próximo dia útil sem cobrança de juros ou multa. A Febraban recomenda, no entanto, que impostos e tributos sejam pagos antecipadamente quando o vencimento coincidir com feriados ou dias sem compensação bancária, para evitar encargos, embora essas obrigações geralmente tenham datas ajustadas ao calendário oficial.
Segundo a entidade, os canais eletrônicos seguem como uma alternativa prática e segura durante o período. Internet banking, aplicativos de celular, caixas eletrônicos, atendimento telefônico e correspondentes bancários permitem a realização da maioria das operações, como pagamentos, transferências e consultas de saldo, além de facilitar a organização financeira.
