O diagnóstico pode ser difícil no início – até o raio X pode parecer normal. O tratamento envolve antibióticos específicos, como azitromicina, e a melhora costuma ser mais lenta.
Mantenha os ambientes bem ventilados, lave as mãos com frequência e evite aglomerações se estiver com sintomas respiratórios.
