Com serviços permanentes em favor das populações mais vulneráveis, LBV completa 73 anos de atuação no Brasil

Para muitos, a palavra Solidariedade é um sentimento que mobiliza e une pessoas em torno de causas e de iniciativas em favor de alguém. Diz respeito à identificação com o sofrimento do outro e, principalmente, a estar disposto a ajudar, acompanhar ou defender outra pessoa. É esse sentimento que tem sustentado o trabalho da Legião da Boa Vontade (LBV), que neste mês de janeiro (1º) completa 73 anos de serviços ininterruptos em prol das comunidades em situação de vulnerabilidade social.
Além do atendimento socioeducacional realizado em suas 82 unidades no Brasil, a Instituição leva ajuda humanitária onde o povo mais precisa por meio de suas campanhas de mobilização social e de caráter emergencial, auxiliando também famílias assistidas por entidades parceiras da Instituição. Ao longo do ano, a LBV promove ações para combater as desigualdades sociais a fim de que as populações mais vulneráveis tenham mais qualidade de vida e oportunidades iguais.
É por meio de seus serviços e programas, dos atendimentos psicossociais, do acompanhamento às famílias, dos encaminhamentos necessários e de uma escuta sensível e ativa que a LBV faz a diferença na vida de muitas pessoas. Diariamente, a Entidade desenvolve ações de atendimento a pessoas de todas as faixas etárias, a começar pela primeira fase da vida, quando bebê até a mais tenra idade. É em ambientes seguros e saudáveis que bebês e seus cuidadores, crianças, adolescentes, adultos e idosos têm a oportunidade de crescimento e de ter seus direitos assegurados.
Vale destacar que todo esse trabalho é firmado na Espiritualidade Ecumênica, ou seja, em valores fraternos como Amor, Solidariedade, União, empatia, respeito mútuo e compaixão.
