Tendo feito várias gestões junto aos órgãos federal e estadual na defesa da segurança e fluidez do tráfego viário conquistense, o deputado estadual Zé Raimundo (PT) participou, nesta última segunda-feira (12), de visita técnica determinada pelo governador Jerônimo Rodrigues com o objetivo de buscar soluções provisórias para os pontos críticos na rotatória da Urbis VI e no Centro Industrial dos Imborés. O deputado esteve nos locais junto com o superintendente de Transportes Terrestres da Secretaria Estadual de Infraestrutura (Seinfra), Saulo Pontes e representantes do Departamento Nacional de Infraestrutura de Transportes (DNIT) e da Prefeitura Municipal de Vitória da Conquista para buscar soluções emergenciais de tráfego, até que sejam definidas as intervenções definitivas, como a construção de viadutos.
A visita começou pela Urbis VI, onde o congestionamento tem gerado transtornos diários para quem transita pelo local. Já no Trevo que liga os Imborés ao povoado do Peri-peri, o que preocupa são os constantes acidentes, muitos deles com vítimas. “Essa iniciativa é resultado direto da determinação do governador Jerônimo Rodrigues e das discussões que temos feito há muito tempo, ao lado do deputado federal Waldenor Pereira e de diversas lideranças políticas da cidade”, ressaltou Zé Raimundo, que no último dia 8 de desse mês de maio esteve também participando, junto com Waldenor Pereira, de uma audiência pública com a ANTT sobre a nova concessão da BR-116.
“A Via Bahia (concessionária que vinha respondendo pela BR-116) está saindo, e enquanto a nova concessionária não assume, o DNIT ficará responsável pela rodovia. Até lá, estamos lutando por medidas provisórias que evitem mais acidentes e melhorem o fluxo do trânsito. Seguimos atentos e cobrando as ações e medidas que possam atenuar os problemas até as soluções definitivas que Conquista tanto precisa”, reforçou Zé Raimundo, que foi prefeito de Vitória da Conquista no período de 2002 a 2008 e realizou importantes intervenções viárias no município, como a construção da Avenida da Integração.
