Em desdobramento nas investigações sobre as eleições de 2024, a Polícia Federal – Delegacia Regional de Vitória da Conquista, concluiu o Inquérito Policial (IP nº 2024.0103514-DPF/VDC/BA) que examinava possíveis crimes eleitorais que teriam sido cometidos pela então candidata, vereadora eleita Dirléia – Leia de Quinho – Santos Meira (PSD), juntamente com seu esposo, então prefeito de Belo Campo e então presidente da União dos Municípios da Bahia, José Henrique – Quinho – Silva Tigre (PSD), na eleição municipal de Vitória da Conquista.
Segundo a Polícia Federal divulgou na segunda-feira (31 de março), as investigações foram arquivadas após a análise dos dados e evidências coletadas, que não corroboraram as suspeitas iniciais.
O Inquérito Policial instaurado teve como foco a apuração de práticas ilícitas – compra de votos e lavagem de dinheiro – que poderiam ter afetado a lisura do pleito. Durante o Processo, a Polícia Federal recolheu depoimentos, analisou documentos e realizou diligências em diversos setores, no entanto, reforça o Relatório Final do Inquérito Policial, as informações reunidas não foram suficientes para sustentar a ocorrência dos crimes investigados, finalizando a apuração sem promover indiciamentos. De acordo com o relatório conclusivo, não existem indícios que sustentem a continuidade da investigação.
A conclusão do Inquérito da Polícia Federal vêm em um momento em que a integridade das eleições é um tópico de grande relevância no cenário político. A decisão da Polícia Federal foi recebida com reações mistas, com alguns argumentando que reforça a confiança nas Instituições, enquanto outros questionaram a extensividade das investigações e a necessidade de mais transparência nas ações conduzidas.
A vereadora Dirléia – Leia de Quinho – Santos Meira (PSD), que conquistou a segunda maior votação para as Câmara Municipal de Vitória da Conquista (4.272 votos), assim como seu esposo, ex-prefeito de Belo Campo e ex-presidente da União dos Municípios da Bahia, José Henrique – Quinho – Silva Tigre (PSD), segundo suas Assessorias, acolheram a notícia do arquivamento do Inquérito Policial instaurado pela Polícia Federal com tranquilidade, reafirmando seus compromissos éticos e íntegros na prática política.
