Dez cidades do País atingidas por desastres naturais vão receber, juntas, mais de R$ 4,5 milhões para ações de defesa civil. Sete cidades foram atingidas por chuvas intensas. São elas: Canavieiras, Itororó, Aurelino Leal e Itaju do Colônia, na Bahia; Córrego Danta e João Monlevade, em Minas Gerais; e São José do Calçado, no Espírito Santo. Já São Pedro das Missões, Novo Barreiro e Sinimbu, no Rio Grande do Sul, passam por um período de estiagem.
Desde o início do ano, já foram investidos pelo Ministério da Integração e do Desenvolvimento Regional mais de R$ 142 milhões em ações contra desastres em todo o Brasil. Para saber o valor destinado a cada cidade e como serão utilizados os recursos, acesse o portal do ministério.
A solicitação de recursos deve ser feita por meio do Sistema Integrado de Informações sobre Desastres, o S2iD. A ferramenta pode ser acessada em http://s2id.mi.gov.br. Waldez Góes, ministro da Integração e do Desenvolvimento Regional, explica de que forma os repasses podem ser aplicados.
“Os recursos da Defesa Civil podem ser empregados naquele primeiro momento que acontece o desastre pra fazer assistência humanitária, pra dar kits de higiene, alimentação pras pessoas que foram atingidas, que enfrentam as consequências daquele desastre, bem como pra restabelecimento dos serviços essenciais, como, por exemplo, abastecimento de água e desobstrução de vias públicas. Além disso, nós também podemos utilizar o os recursos da Defesa Civil pra fazer reconstrução de infraestruturas públicas destruídas pelo desastre ou ainda de habitações destruídas pelo desastre”.

Além dos repasses, a Defesa Civil Nacional oferece uma série de cursos a distância para habilitar e qualificar agentes municipais e estaduais para o uso do S2iD.
