Com os estudos preliminares concluídos, já estão em andamento os levantamentos topográficos de terrenos indicados para a construção de novas praças na sede e distritos de Vitória da Conquista. Os equipamentos públicos de lazer para as comunidades serão construídos com recursos de emendas parlamentares dos deputados Waldenor Pereira (federal) e Zé Raimundo (estadual).
O andamento dos projetos para as novas praças públicas está sendo acompanhado atentamente pelo deputado Waldenor Pereira, que esteve na Conder, em Salvador, nesta segunda-feira (10), reunido com a diretora de Equipamentos e Qualificação Urbanística, Larissa Dantas Britto.
Segundo Waldenor, serão destinados recursos de emendas parlamentares de sua autoria e de Zé Raimundo no valor R$11,5 milhões para as futuras praças públicas conquistenses. Inicialmente são 14 localidades já indicadas por vereadores e lideranças comunitárias. “Poderemos ampliar o número de praças, mas preliminarmente temos indicações para as seguintes comunidades: os distritos de Iguá, Batuque, Pradoso, Zé Gonçalves, São Sebastião Inhobim e Cabeceira da Jibóia; as comunidades rurais de Itapirema e Roseira; e os bairros urbanos Urbis VI, Vila Bonita, Vila Elisa, Cadija e Vila Serrana”.
Nos dias 21 e 22 de fevereiro passado, uma equipe de engenheiros da Sedur e Conder (órgão e secretaria estaduais de urbanismo) realizou visita técnica no município de Vitória da Conquista para identificar espaços para construção das praças públicas.
