A coragem e a determinação das mulheres da Associação da Irmandade Rural de Lagoa de Dentro, Cinzeiro e Adjacências, localizada na Comunidade de Lagoa de Dentro, em Caetité, estão promovendo mudanças significativas na vida das famílias da região. Juntas, elas têm superado obstáculos e conquistado, dia após dia, mais autonomia e sustentabilidade por meio da produção de chiringa, chimango, sequilho, bolos de puba, milho e aipim, além de pães.

Esse progresso foi potencializado pela instalação de uma Agroindústria completamente equipada e pela aquisição de um veículo utilitário, ambos viabilizados pelo Governo do Estado, através da Secretaria de Estado de Desenvolvimento Rural, por meio da Companhia de Desenvolvimento e Ação Regional (CAR). Essa infraestrutura proporcionou as condições necessárias para que essas mulheres pudessem produzir e comercializar seus produtos, que são escoados em feiras, eventos e supermercados de Caetité, além de serem vendidos no Programa Nacional de Alimentação Escolar (Pnae) e na loja do Centro Público de Economia Solidária (Cesol), em Guanambi.
Uma das figuras centrais dessa transformação é Dilma Oliveira, Tesoureira e uma das fundadoras da Associação, que atualmente conta com 69 associadas. Ela recorda as dificuldades enfrentadas no início, quando até mesmo a alimentação era um desafio, e a produção ocorria sem infraestrutura adequada, utilizando bandejas e fornos emprestados.
“Com a Agroindústria instalada na Comunidade, as famílias não dependem mais de cestas básicas, como antes. Era muito difícil, mas hoje temos um espaço que o Governo da Bahia nos concedeu. Temos dignidade, alimentos, e até dinheiro para lazer e vestuário. Nossa vida mudou, e não apenas a nossa, mas a de toda a Comunidade, pois compramos mandioca, leite, batata. Isso traz muita alegria e dignidade, que é o que realmente importa para nós”, celebra Dilma.
Ela compartilha que essa jornada começou em 2005. “Agora, com essa estrutura, podemos produzir mais e melhor. Temos duas batedeiras, dois fornos de qualidade, mesas, formas, descansadores de pão e diversos equipamentos em nossa Agroindústria. Com nosso trabalho, transformamos nossas vidas e conquistamos autonomia”, afirma. Suélia Lopes Bomfim, Presidente da Associação, ressalta que a organização tem progredido constantemente. “Já avançamos muito e, com a Agroindústria e as políticas públicas que recebemos, as mudanças ocorrem a cada dia. Hoje podemos viajar, participar de feiras e nossos produtos já são reconhecidos. Também temos mais acesso a crédito e oportunidades. Antes, eu às vezes queria comprar um calçado, uma roupa ou até renovar meu guarda-roupa e não podia. Hoje, se eu quiser, já tenho uma renda extra para isso”, comemora.
