O Governo do Estado, por meio da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia, entregou nesta segunda-feira (17) dois veículos Toyota Yaris, zero quilômetro, à Secretaria Municipal de Saúde de Livramento de Nossa Senhora. A iniciativa tem como objetivo reforçar e qualificar os serviços prestados à população do município.
Os automóveis foram adquiridos com recursos provenientes de emendas parlamentares do deputado federal Waldenor Pereira (PT-BA). A entrega simbólica das chaves ocorreu na sede da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia, em Salvador, com a presença da prefeita de Livramento, Joanina Batista Silva Morais Sampaio (PSB). Representando a secretária de Estado da Saúde da Bahia Roberta Silva de Carvalho Santana, participaram do ato a Assessora Especial Petrivone Maria Ferreira Sampaio e o Assessor Técnico Cássio Santos.
Durante a cerimônia, Waldenor Pereira destacou que, antes da destinação dos recursos para a compra dos veículos, seu mandato e o do deputado estadual José Raimundo Fontes (PT) já haviam viabilizado R$ 2 milhões para custeio das ações de Saúde Pública em Livramento. Segundo ele, os investimentos têm contribuído para fortalecer e ampliar o atendimento oferecido à população.
A prefeita Joanina Sampaio ressaltou, na ocasião, que os novos veículos vão reforçar diretamente o trabalho das equipes de saúde, assegurando maior agilidade no atendimento, melhores condições de deslocamento e mais eficiência no acompanhamento das ações realizadas nas Unidades Básicas de Saúde e nas comunidades das zonas urbana e rural.
