Durante entrevista concedida à Rádio Bom Jesus FM, no programa Jornal Primeira Hora, apresentado pelo radialista Ailton Alegria, na manhã da quinta-feira (29), o prefeito de Bom Jesus da Lapa, Eures Ribeiro Pereira (PSD), anunciou que o governador Jerônimo Rodrigues Souza (PT), estará no município durante o período do Lapa Folia 2026 (28 de fevereiro e 1º de março) para assinar a Licitação do Hospital Regional.
Segundo o prefeito, a Unidade Hospitalar está orçada em aproximadamente R$ 130 milhões e representa uma antiga reivindicação da população de Bom Jesus da Lapa e da macrorregião. A expectativa é que o Projeto avance nos próximos meses, com o lançamento do Edital da obra.
Eures Ribeiro destacou que a implantação do Hospital Regional em Bom Jesus da Lapa será fundamental para reduzir a sobrecarga do Sistema de Saúde e melhorar o atendimento de Média e Alta Complexidade. Atualmente, o Hospital de grande porte mais próximo fica em Barreiras, distante mais de 260 quilômetros, o que, segundo ele, é insuficiente para atender à demanda regional.
Durante a entrevista, o gestor explicou que os municípios são responsáveis pela Regulação dos pacientes, mas que os Procedimentos de Alta Complexidade dependem do Estado, o que gera longas filas de espera. Ele ressaltou que a nova Unidade deverá contribuir para diminuir esse tempo, ampliando o acesso da população aos Serviços de Saúde.
O prefeito Eures Ribeiro também informou que o terreno destinado à construção do Hospital Regional já foi definido e encaminhado ao Governo do Estado, atendendo a uma solicitação do governador Jerônimo Rodrigues. A assinatura da Licitação está prevista para ocorrer durante a visita do governador ao município, após o Carnaval.
Eures Ribeiro reforçou que a implantação do Hospital Regional é considerada um dos maiores investimentos em Saúde já anunciados para Bom Jesus da Lapa e região, com expectativa de impacto direto no atendimento hospitalar e na estrutura da rede pública de Saúde.
