Além da Bahia, o ministro Rogério Marinho também anunciou recursos para continuidade de outras 19 obras e projetos de saneamento básico em outras 11 unidades da Federação, totalizando R$ 34 milhões em repasses. Serão atendidos empreendimentos no Ceará, Distrito Federal, Goiás, Mato Grosso, Minas Gerais, Pará, Paraíba, Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Sergipe e Rio Grande do Norte.
“As obras que foram iniciadas em diversos estados brasileiros não podem ser paralisadas. Hoje, estamos liberando mais recursos para a continuidade desses empreendimentos. Isso é uma reafirmação do nosso compromisso com a melhoria da qualidade de vida dos cidadãos brasileiros, que passam a ter maior qualidade de vida e melhor acesso a serviços ligados à área de saúde”, apontou Rogério Marinho.
Outros repasses
No Rio Grande do Norte, os bairros Nossa Senhora da Apresentação e Lagoa Azul, em Natal, onde menos de 4% da população conta com coleta de esgoto, receberá investimentos de R$ 5 milhões para a continuidade de obra de saneamento integrado. Uma população de mais de 19,6 mil famílias com renda mensal média de R$ 1.810 será atendida.
Centro-Oeste
O Distrito Federal receberá R$ 2,7 milhões do MDR. O valor será destinado à implantação de um centro de reservação no sistema de abastecimento de água do Descoberto.
Empreendimentos no estado de Goiás receberão R$ 2 milhões para obras de saneamento básico. A ampliação do sistema de abastecimento de água de Aparecida de Goiânia terá acesso a R$ 1,9 milhão. Para Luziânia, serão destinados R$ 72,9 mil para intervenções de saneamento integrado e urbanização nos bairros Parque Alvorada I, II e III e Parque JK.
A cidade de Rondonópolis, em Mato Grosso, contará com R$ 1,4 milhão. O montante será voltado à ampliação do sistema de abastecimento de água local.
Outras regiões
O estado do Pará contará com repasse de R$ 1,6 milhão para quatro cidades. Santarém terá acesso a R$ 1,3 milhão para a ampliação do sistema de abastecimento de água dos bairros Setor Nova República e Livramento, além do mesmo tipo de empreendimento no distrito de Alter do Chão. As ampliações desses serviços em Breves e Monte Alegre receberão R$ 187,5 mil e R$ 73,6 mil, respectivamente.
No Rio de Janeiro, a cidade de Belford Roxo vai receber R$ 937,2 mil para as obras de saneamento integrado dos bairros Pauline e São Leopoldo. Belo Horizonte, capital de Minas Gerais, receberá aporte de R$ 836 mil, que serão voltados às intervenções de saneamento integrado na Bacia do Córrego Bonsucesso.
Por fim, duas cidades de São Paulo serão contempladas com R$ 39,6 mil. Americana receberá R$ 21,9 mil para a ampliação do sistema de abastecimento de água do município, enquanto Santo André terá R$ 17,7 mil para obras de saneamento integrado e urbanização do Complexo Jardim Irene.
