Municípios estão localizados nos estados da Bahia, Maranhão e Rio Grande do Sul

O Governo Federal, por meio do Ministério do Desenvolvimento Regional (MDR), vai repassar mais de R$ 2 milhões a oito cidades brasileiras atingidas por desastres naturais. As portarias que autorizam os recursos foram publicadas na edição desta quinta-feira (24) do Diário Oficial da União (DOU).
O maior repasse, de R$ 1,1 milhão, será feito para o município de Prado, na Bahia, atingido por chuvas intensas. O recurso será usado na construção de uma ponte.
Afetada por enxurradas, a cidade de Marajá do Sena, no Maranhão, contará com R$ 293,8 mil para a compra de cestas de alimentação, kits de limpeza, de higiene pessoal e dormitório, colchões, redes, água mineral e combustível.
Já São Jerônimo, no Rio Grande do Sul, terá R$ 47 mil para a compra de cestas básicas. O município foi atingido por vendavais.
Estiagem
Na lista de cidades beneficiadas com recursos do MDR estão ainda cinco municípios gaúchos afetados pela estiagem. Para Cachoeira do Sul, o Governo Federal vai encaminhar R$ 257,8 mil para aluguel de caminhão pipa e compra de combustível, tanque móvel e cestas básicas.
Já para Uruguaiana, serão destinados R$ 132,5 para aquisição de três reservatórios para transporte de água e cestas básicas.
O município de Dona Francisca contará com R$ 84,8 mil, enquanto Mato Leitão terá acesso a R$ 56,8 mil. Nos dois casos, os investimentos serão usados na compra de cestas básicas, depósitos e combustível.
Por fim, a cidade de Giruá vai receber R$ 35,4 mil para a aquisição de cestas básicas.
