Os evangélicos, no Congresso Nacional, pastores e ou membros de igrejas, têm se utilizado desses métodos e se declaram seguidores de Deus, mas agem de maneira contrária aos ensinamentos de Jesus.
Em nossa opinião, o pregador do evangelho não deve se imiscuir na política, seu lugar é no púlpito, ele foi escolhido como servo de Deus para a divulgação do evangelho, conforme determinou Jesus: “Ide, portanto, fazei discípulos de todas as nações, batizando-os em nome do Pai e do Filho e do Espírito Santo; ensinando-os a guardar todas as cousas que vos tenho ordenado. E eis que estou convosco todos os dias até à consumação do século”. (Mt 28. 19.20).
Seu lugar é no púlpito, a tribuna para pregadores, nos templos religiosos: “Muito recomendamos ao pregador que se penetre bem do verdadeiro espírito do Evangelho em todas as matérias que houver de tratar no púlpito” (J.-I. Roquete, Manual de Eloquência Sagrada, p. 253).
A missão do Pastor é conquistar almas para Deus em obediência ao que Jesus pregou. Deus deu esse poder a quem o escolheu para a pregação da doutrina cristã.
O político é eleito para promover o bem-estar coletivo através de políticas públicas (saúde, educação, segurança etc., buscando o bem-estar coletivo através de políticas públicas, e normas que organizem a sociedade e o uso dos recursos direcionados em benefício da comunidade e normas que organizam a sociedade, portanto cabe a todos eles a missão de trabalhar em benefício do povo, independente dos interesses pessoais.
A missão do evangelista tem outra finalidade – a religiosa.
Infelizmente, muitos estão trabalhando por interesses pessoais e ou políticos partidários ao invés de trabalharem para o Senhor. Assim fazendo, devem ser excluídos da religião que professam, pela rebeldia da aliança com Deus. Ao idolatrarem alguém como líder ou chefe, desobedecem ao verdadeiro Líder e Chefe religioso, traindo a Sua confiança.
Atualmente o Congresso está vivendo um tempo de desarmonia, a independência entre os poderes está comprometida, reina a mentira, a intriga e os interesses pessoais de ambição e poder, em detrimento das políticas agregadoras do progresso e desenvolvimento da nação.
Sem os ingredientes do respeito mútuo não haverá vitórias.
