A Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia anunciou na quarta-feira (16) a implementação de um Protocolo inovador no país, que amplia o acesso à Enoxaparina — medicamento utilizado na prevenção do Tromboembolismo Venoso (TEV) — para gestantes e puérperas fora do ambiente hospitalar. Baseado em evidências científicas e análises de impacto orçamentário, o procedimento tem o potencial de diminuir internações prolongadas, liberar leitos hospitalares e salvar vidas.
Com essa nova orientação, os critérios para a dispensação da medicação serão ampliados além do que está previsto nos Protocolos Clínicos e Diretrizes Terapêuticas (PCDT) do Ministério da Saúde. Entre as novas condições para o fornecimento da Enoxaparina está o diagnóstico clínico da Síndrome Antifosfolípide (SAF) com histórico de descolamento prematuro de Placenta.
A iniciativa reforça o compromisso do Governo do Estado com a promoção da equidade no acesso à saúde, assegurando proteção às mulheres mais vulneráveis durante a gestação e o período pós-parto. O lançamento do protocolo ocorreu no auditório da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia, em Salvador, com a presença de especialistas, gestores e representantes de entidades médicas e do controle social.
O subsecretário da Saúde da Bahia, Paulo José Bastos Barbosa, destacou que a revisão do Protocolo do Ministério da Saúde se tornou necessária, pois o documento anterior não contemplava algumas situações específicas. “Muitas vezes, precisávamos manter a paciente internada apenas para garantir o acesso à medicação. É muito mais vantajoso para o Estado fornecer a Enoxaparina do que manter a gestante hospitalizada”, afirmou.
Ele também ressaltou a importância do avanço: “Tenho certeza de que demos um passo fundamental, que terá uma grande repercussão no cuidado às mulheres. O mais importante é que vamos reduzir o número de óbitos maternos relacionados a eventos Tromboembólicos durante a gravidez.”
O Protocolo foi elaborado com base em estudos científicos, como explicou Luiz Henrique d’Utra, superintendente de Assistência Farmacêutica, Ciência e Tecnologia em Saúde, órgão da estrutura da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia. “Criamos um Núcleo de Avaliação de Tecnologias aqui na Secretaria, que tem apoiado a gestão nas decisões referentes à incorporação de novas tecnologias e protocolos, e esse é um exemplo claro”, afirmou.
Para finalizar, Karlos Figueredo, superintendente de Atenção Integral à Saúde, destacou: “Estamos garantindo às gestantes uma gestação mais segura e tranquila.”
