Celebrando os 40 anos do Axé Music, a 4ª edição da Marcha do Orgulho LGBTQIA+ de Vitória da Conquista terá um momento especial de festa e representatividade com a apresentação da Banda Axé 4, sob o comando vibrante da cantora Kátia Flávia. A Marcha acontece no dia 9 de agosto, a partir das 14h, com concentração na Praça da Normal (Praça Crésio Dantas Alves).
Kátia Flávia é um dos nomes mais potentes da cena musical conquistense. Mulher lésbica, preta e do axé, ela representa com orgulho e força a pluralidade da comunidade LGBTQIA+ e carrega em sua trajetória a alegria contagiante de quem nasceu para estar nos palcos. À frente da Axé 4, ela vem conquistando espaço em grandes eventos, reafirmando a força do axé no interior da Bahia.
Em 2024, Kátia protagonizou um momento marcante ao fazer uma participação especial com a banda Timbalada durante a Micareta de Vitória da Conquista, sendo ovacionada pelo público.
Agora, ela promete incendiar a avenida com os maiores sucessos do gênero que é patrimônio da nossa cultura baiana.
“Galera, só quero dizer que a festa será muito linda! A banda já tá pronta pra arrastar todos pra alegria. A parada vai ser top! Então vamos todos com amor festejar esse momento. Eu estou muito feliz e ansiosa pra esse grande momento”, declarou Kátia.
A presença da Axé 4 na Marcha simboliza a celebração de uma trajetória coletiva — da música que marcou gerações e da luta por visibilidade de corpos, vozes e vivências que por muito tempo foram marginalizadas. Neste ano, o trio elétrico da Marcha será, mais do que nunca, um espaço de potência, liberdade e ancestralidade em ritmo de carnaval.
Além da Axé 4, também estão confirmados na programação os artistas Yanne Lin e Mateus Costa, além da Feira da Diversidade, que reunirá mais de 20 expositores.
A 4ª Marcha do Orgulho LGBTQIA+ de Vitória da Conquista é uma realização do Coletivo da Marcha, com apoio da Prefeitura Municipal de Vitória da Conquista.
