Iniciativa busca alertar as pessoas sobre a realidade enfrentada por diversas mulheres

Com o objetivo de alertar a comunidade acadêmica para um grave problema que afeta a sociedade, o Ser Educacional lançou o Cadeira Vazia. Todas as Instituições de Ensino Superior mantidas pela Companhia vão ter, em suas salas de aula, uma cadeira vermelha adesivada com uma frase de impacto, levando todos a refletirem sobre casos de feminicídio.
De acordo com levantamento da Rede de Observatórios de Segurança, em 2024, quatro mulheres sofriam feminicídio por dia. O total foi de 1.450 vítimas, sendo São Paulo o estado com mais casos.
“É uma cadeira vazia que diz muito. Ela representa uma mulher que poderia estar ali, estudando, transformando seu futuro, mas teve sua vida interrompida. A violência contra a mulher precisa ser combatida todos os dias”, afirma Jânyo Diniz, CEO do Ser Educacional.
O projeto conta com a parceria do Instituto Banco Vermelho, Instituto Maria da Penha e Grupo Mulheres do Brasil. Ele faz parte do Programa Ser Mulher, realizado pelo Ser Educacional, atendendo ao eixo de sensibilização e mobilização social.
“Também com o intuito de trazer informações importantes, a cadeira possui um QR-Code para acesso à cartilha informativa sobre a violência contra a mulher, seja física, moral ou psicológica, e os principais canais de denúncia. Disseminar conhecimento é outro objetivo extremamente importante deste e dos demais projetos do Programa Ser Mulher”, explica Adriane Mendes, gerente de Governança Ambiental e Social do Ser Educacional.
Por exemplo, na 10ª Pesquisa Nacional de Violência contra a Mulher, 48% das brasileiras falaram que desconhecer seus direitos leva uma mulher a não denunciar a agressão na maioria das vezes. Ela foi feita pelo Instituto DataSenado, em parceria com o Observatório da Mulher contra a Violência (OMV).
Ainda de acordo com a pesquisa do DataSenado, 75% das brasileiras afirmam conhecer pouco ou nada sobre a Lei Maria da Penha. Porém, 95% estão cientes das Delegacias Especializadas de Atendimento à Mulher (DEAMs). O índice também cresce quando perguntadas sobre a Defensoria Pública e os serviços prestados pelos Centros de Referência de Assistência Social (CRAS) e Centros de Referência Especializado de Assistência Social (CREAS). Já o Ligue 180 é conhecido por 79%.
“Além do Cadeira Vazia, também temos o Espaço Seguro. Ele tem como objetivo atender, acolher e informar as vítimas sobre seus direitos”, acrescenta Jânyo Diniz. Para atuarem nesse ambiente, os colaboradores passaram por um treinamento de capacitação. “O intuito foi ensinar como realizar o atendimento adequado e explicar como encaminhar as vítimas à rede de apoio”.
Ser Mulher
Além desses programas, o Ser Educacional oferece bolsas de graduação digital 100% gratuitas para mulheres vítimas de violência doméstica. A iniciativa faz parte do programa Ser Mulher, que conta com o apoio do Instituto Maria da Penha e Grupo Mulheres do Brasil, o qual também oferta apoio psicológico, suporte emocional e atendimento jurídico para as vítimas tirarem dúvidas e receberem assistência durante todo o processo. Os serviços são realizados nas Clínicas-Escola de Psicologia e no Núcleo de Práticas Jurídicas (NPJ) das instituições.
