Na última sexta-feira (02), a Companhia Baiana de Pesquisa Mineral (CBPM) realizou a entrega de mais uma “Medalha da Mineração”. A homenagem foi entregue ao presidente do Conselho Regional de Engenharia e Agronomia da Bahia (CREA-BA), Joseval Carqueja. A entrega aconteceu na sede da CBPM e contou com a participação do presidente da CBPM, Antonio Carlos Tramm, e do diretor técnico da instituição, Rafael Avena.
A Medalha
A Medalha da Mineração foi criada e confeccionada por Bel Borba, um dos artistas plásticos mais importantes da atualidade. No design, o artista baiano trouxe alguns dos ícones do universo da mineração, em alto relevo, agregando a própria experiência em esculturas de bronze. A obra confeccionada em bronze possui aproximadamente 10 centímetros de diâmetro.
