A Carteira de Trabalho Digital, lançada em 2019, superou a marca de 1 bilhão de acessos. O documento pode ser acessado pelo computador ou pelo smartphone, e já foram habilitados mais de 68 milhões de documentos digitais, com mais de 37 milhões de dispositivos Android e IOS ativos. Somente este ano foram 462 milhões de acessos, sendo 45% por meio do aplicativo via celular ou tablet.
Com a pandemia da covid-19, que expandiu o trabalho e os serviços remotos, a utilização da CTPS teve um grande crescimento. Em 2020, primeiro ano da pandemia, foram registrados 270 milhões de acessos. A versão eletrônica reúne contratos de trabalho antigos e novos, bem como suas respectivas anotações.
A carteira digital cruza as várias bases de dados do governo com as informações inseridas pelo empregador no e-Social, sistema de registro de dados trabalhistas pela internet. O documento eletrônico consolida dados do contrato de trabalho, salário, registros de férias, pagamento de décimo terceiro, rescisões contratuais e demais eventos ligados ao histórico do trabalhador.
Para acessar a Carteira de Trabalho e Previdência Social Digital, basta baixar gratuitamente o aplicativo na loja virtual (App Store da Apple e no Play Store do Android), ou acessar também pelo portal Gov.br. É preciso ter o login autenticado no portal Gov.br e o número do CPF em mãos.
Empregador
Para o empregador, a carteira de trabalho digital funciona de forma semelhante que para os demais funcionários. A diferença é que as empresas deverão fazer todas as admissões, demissões e anotações por meio do e-Social, reduzindo a burocracia e agilizando o processo.
Diferentemente da carteira física, a carteira de trabalho eletrônica não exige a numeração específica de oito dígitos, divididos entre número de identificação e de série. Todas as informações podem ser inseridas digitando apenas o CPF do empregado. Em até 48 horas após a inserção no e-Social, as informações deverão aparecer na CTPS digital.
