O deputado estadual José Luciano Santos Ribeiro (União Brasil), denunciou que o Partido dos Trabalhadores estaria tentando criar um “factoide político” para evitar prestar esclarecimentos sobre o envolvimento de membros da legenda envolvendo o Banco Master. Em sua declaração, Luciano Ribeiro ressaltou que a tática de atacar adversários é uma manobra desesperada para mudar o foco do debate público, afirmando que “quem tem muito o que se explicar, todo mundo sabe, é o PT”.
O vice-líder da minoria na Assembleia Legislativa da Bahia acusou o PT de articular uma “cortina de fumaça”, ao inventar narrativas contra ACM Neto (ex-prefeito de Salvador, vice-presidente nacional do União Brasil e pré-candidato à sucessão estadual), a fim de desviar a atenção das questões relevantes, como as relações políticas e empresariais surgidas durante os Governos petistas. Luciano Ribeiro mencionou o histórico do PT em escândalos de corrupção, citando casos em que a legenda esteve envolvida, como os do Mensalão e do Petrolão, além do recente esquema de fraudes e desvios de dinheiro de aposentadorias e pensões do Instituto Nacional do Seguro Social (INSS), que reforçou, impactou milhões de aposentados. “É um roteiro muito conhecido, sempre que surge um escândalo que pode atingir aliados, o PT tenta envolver adversários na narrativa para diluir a responsabilidade”, declarou.
O deputado destacou que no caso de ACM Neto, não há qualquer indício de irregularidade ou investigação. Ele enfatizou que a prestação de serviços foi realizada de forma legítima, com a emissão de Nota Fiscal e o devido recolhimento de impostos. “Tudo ocorreu de forma transparente e sem qualquer irregularidade. Os que têm contas a prestar estão agora inquietos e temerosos. Esses, sim, precisam se explicar para a população e para a Justiça”, afirmou.
Por fim, Luciano Ribeiro expressou a expectativa de que as lideranças petistas na Bahia mantenham a mesma transparência que exigem dos outros. “Quando o PT se vê acuado, começa a disparar acusações contra todos para ver se algum ataque surte efeito. Entretanto, nesta situação, quem realmente precisa explicar muito é o próprio PT da Bahia”, concluiu.
