No último dia 28 de abril, em Salvador, o Deputado Federal Waldenor Alves Pereira Filho (PT/BA) reuniu-se com o secretário de Estado de Segurança Pública da Bahia, Marcelo Werner Derschum Filho, para solicitar que o Governo do Estado invista na reestruturação da infraestrutura física da Polícia Civil em Vitória da Conquista. A solicitação foi fundamentada em um documento elaborado durante a campanha eleitoral de 2024 – o Programa de Governo Participativo – no qual Delegados, Investigadores, Agentes, Escrivães e servidores lotados na configuração da 10ª Coordenadoria de Polícia Civil do Interior reforçaram a necessidade de melhorias nas instalações físicas das Delegacias e Unidades Policiais. A proposta inclui a modernização e ampliação das instalações, visando melhorar as condições de trabalho e, consequentemente, aprimorar o atendimento à população e a eficiência das investigações.
O parlamentar petista destacou que apresentou ao secretário o pedido de construção de cinco novas Delegacias na cidade. “Estamos propondo a construção de cinco novas Unidades para melhorar as condições físicas e de trabalho da Polícia Civil em Vitória da Conquista, que atualmente operam em locais precários”, afirmou Waldenor Pereira.
A proposta entregue ao secretário de Estado de Segurança Pública da Bahia, Marcelo Werner Derschum Filho, prevê a construção de novas estruturas para abrigar as Delegacias de Homicídios e Especializada de Atendimento à Mulher (Deam), atualmente instaladas no Distrito Integrado de Segurança Pública (Disep); a Segunda Delegacia Territorial, localizada no Departamento de Polícia Técnica do Estado da Bahia, na Avenida Brumado; e as Delegacias Especializadas de Repressão a Crimes Contra a Criança e o Adolescente (Derca) e do Adolescente Infrator (DAI), atualmente sediadas no Centro Estadual de Atendimento às Crianças e Adolescentes Vítimas de Violência (Proteja).
Durante o encontro, Waldenor Pereira sugeriu áreas públicas pertencentes ao Governo do Estado em Vitória da Conquista que poderiam ser utilizadas para as obras. “Existe um terreno ao lado do Instituto Médico Legal (IML), que é de propriedade do Estado, e outro no espaço do antigo Aeroporto da cidade”, apontou o parlamentar.
Waldenor Pereira destacou a importância da reestruturação da infraestrutura da Polícia Civil para o município, ressaltando que ela contribuirá para melhorar o atendimento à população e criar condições de trabalho mais adequadas para os Policiais e demais profissionais da área. “Com espaços modernizados e bem equipados, será possível aprimorar a eficiência dos serviços prestados, fortalecendo a Segurança Pública tanto em Vitória da Conquista quanto na região”, afirmou.
Segundo o parlamentar, o secretário Marcelo Werner afirmou que a solicitação será atendida, tendo garantido que a inclusão do projeto no Plano de Financiamento da Secretaria de Segurança Pública da Bahia será feita no âmbito do Programa de Modernização das Estruturas de Segurança Pública, com recursos provenientes de financiamento recentemente contratado pelo governador Jerônimo Rodrigues Souza (PT).
