A energia solar se tornou a segunda maior fonte energética do Brasil em 2022. Com 23,9 gigawatts (GW) de potência instalada operacional, a fonte solar fotovoltaica ultrapassou a fonte a eólica – que tem 23,8 GW de potência instalada –, ficando atrás apenas da fonte hídrica, que possui hoje 109,7 GW, segundo levantamento da Associação Brasileira de Energia Solar Fotovoltaica (ABSOLAR).
De acordo com mapeamento da entidade, os 23,9 gigawatts (GW) incluem a somatória das grandes usinas e dos pequenos e médios sistemas de geração própria em residências, comércios, indústrias, propriedades rurais e prédios públicos. Conforme cálculos da associação, a fonte solar já trouxe ao Brasil, desde 2012, mais de R$ 120,8 bilhões em novos investimentos, gerou mais de 705 mil empregos e proporcionou R$ 38 bilhões em arrecadação para os cofres públicos.
Além disso, o aumento do consumo de energia solar é positivo para o meio ambiente. A maior utilização da fonte solar fotovoltaíca evitou a emissão de 33,3 milhões de toneladas de CO2 na geração de eletricidade, estima a entidade.
Após seis meses de uso dos painéis solares, Elis Cristina, de 34 anos, sente no bolso as vantagens da implementação da tecnologia na sua chácara. “Os benefícios são maravilhosos, incluindo a economia de energia elétrica, e o preço da nossa conta diminuiu muito. Antes, nós pagávamos um valor de aproximadamente R$ 400, e hoje nós pagamos somente a taxa mínima que, esse mês, subiu para 100 reais”, comemora a artesã.
Coordenador da ABSOLAR, Guilherme Susteras exalta o avanço da fonte solar no país. “Isso, além de ser bom para o planeta, porque a energia solar é uma energia renovável, limpa, é bom para o bolso de todos os brasileiros. Porque ela é a fonte de energia mais barata. Também vale lembrar que a grande maioria dos sistemas são sistemas pequenos, nos telhados das casas, dos pequenos negócios, e quando essas famílias, essas pequenas empresas investem em energia solar, elas não só reduzem seus próprios custos de energia como também reduz custo de energia dos seus vizinhos que não tem energia solar, porque reduz o uso de termelétricas, diminui o número de meses com bandeira tarifária e permite também redução de perdas na distribuição e na transmissão”, destaca o gestor.
Para 2023, a expectativa do setor é de aumentar em 10 GW de potência instalada, ultrapassando a marca dos 33 GW.
Geração Distribuída
A Associação Brasileira de Distribuidores de Energia Elétrica (Abradee) reconhece a importância da rede de distribuição. Para a organização, o resultado positivo da fonte solar fotovoltáica é um resultado dos incentivos e subsídios ao setor, garantidos principalmente pelo Marco Legal da Geração Distribuída.
Marcos Madureira, presidente da Abradee, entende que a utilização das estruturas das redes de distribuição sem encargos foi primordial pela marca atingida da energia solar. “As distribuidoras de energia elétrica tiveram um papel fundamental para que a geração distribuída pudesse se ampliar, porque é através das redes, dos sistemas elétricos das distribuidoras, que se foi possível fazer esse crescimento exponencial, ou seja, as redes foram suficientes para poder atender todo esse crescimento”, comentou o dirigente.
Tarifa 2023
Em novembro, durante reunião com a equipe de transição do então governo eleito, a Agência Nacional de Energia Elétrica (Aneel) apresentou a estimativa para o reajuste da tarifa de energia elétrica em 2023. A projeção da agência é que, no próximo ano, a tarifa da conta de luz suba, em média, de 5,6%.
No mesmo relatório, porém, a Aneel destacou que os percentuais de reajuste dependem de premissas que podem ser alteradas até a homologação dos processos tarifários.
