Vejo as pessoas dizerem muito, no final do ano, “Feliz Natal” e “Feliz Ano Novo”, também no início do novo ano. E fico pensando se elas realmente pensam e desejam aquilo que estão dizendo. Parece tão automático, tão dito apenas por dizer, que o próprio desejo acaba sem significado. E fico triste com isso, pois quando desejo algo para alguém, é pra valer. E acho importante que as pessoas tenham bons desejos para si e para os outros, pois desejar o bem é bom inclusive para quem deseja, pois tudo o que se faz ou se deseja para o próximo, volta para quem desejou. E, às vezes, potenciado. Por isso, acho que perdemos boas oportunidades de atrair coisas boas para cada um de nós, desejando coisas boas, com sinceridade, para aqueles que dividem suas vidas conosco, sejam familiares ou amigos.
Não são todos que agem assim, mecanicamente, há aqueles que nos desejam “Feliz Natal” e “Feliz Ano Novo” com sentimento, com emoção. Que sabem o que isso significa para si e para os outros. E me congratulo com essas pessoas, porque bons desejos podem fazer com que tudo a nossa volta fique melhor, mais leve, mais alegre. E o mundo fica melhor, assim. A vida pode ser melhor, assim.
A humanidade está perdendo a sua humanidade, infelizmente. Alguns de nós – mais do que desejaríamos – já não conseguem sentir algumas coisas que nos caracterizam como seres humanos. Coisas importantes como amizade, bondade, gratidão, compaixão, admiração, serenidade, empatia, solidariedade, etc. Para algumas pessoas parece mais fácil ignorar, desdenhar, ofender, etc. E isso é muito grave.
Mas não há que desejarmos, apenas. É preciso agir. Desejar coisas boas para o próximo é bom para todos, mas agir é ainda mais importante. Não podemos mudar o mundo sozinhos, mas se cada um fizer o pouco que puder por alguém que está perto, as coisas já começam a melhorar. Um sorriso no rosto, uma palavra amiga, um abraço, dividir o que temos com quem tem bem menos que nós, apoiar, ouvir, entender, perdoar, já são caminhos que podem levar a uma coisa bem maior. Perto de nós existem pessoas que precisam de tudo isso. Pessoas da família, amigos, vizinhos, etc. Se prestarmos atenção e tivermos boa vontade, não precisamos apenas desejar, podemos transformar alguns desejos em ação, realizá-los. É só querermos.
Então, desejo bons desejos a todos, sinceros e verdadeiros, saídos direto do coração. E a realização de todos eles.
