Estados, municípios e do Distrito Federal já podem utilizar os recursos na ordem de mais R$ 4,5 bi para Educação Básica disponibilizados pelo Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educação (Fnde)), autarquia vinculada ao Ministério da Educação. O montante foi creditado nas contas dos entes federativos no dia 27 de junho e já pode ser utilizado desde o dia 30.
O valor é referente às complementações da União ao Fundo de Manutenção e Desenvolvimento da Educação Básica (Fundeb), relativas ao mês de junho e abarca complementações da União nas modalidades Valor Anual por Aluno Fundeb (VAAF), Valor Aluno Ano Total (VAAT) e Valor Aluno Ano Resultado (VAAR) do Fundo.
Confira os repasses realizados, por complementações, em junho 2025:
- Valor Anual por Aluno Fundeb (VAAF): R$ 2,1 bilhões;
- Valor Aluno Ano Total (VAAT): R$ 1,9 bilhões;
- Valor Aluno Ano Resultado (VAAR): R$ 437 milhões.
Segundo o Ministério da Educação, com esse novo repasse, as transferências da União ao Fundeb em 2025 somam R$ 27,2 bilhões – sendo R$ 13,3 bilhões via VAAF, R$ 11,3 bilhões via VAAT e R$ 2,4 bilhões via VAAR. O extrato da distribuição dos recursos do Fundeb pode ser acessado na aba de Extrato FUNDEB no site oficial do Banco do Brasil.
Obras nas instituições de Ensino
No dia 4 de junho o Fnde publicou a Portaria nº 505/2025, que autoriza o uso dos recursos do Fundeb como contrapartida não financeira em Termos de Compromisso firmados com o órgão.
O dispositivo permite que Estados, municípios e o Distrito Federal utilizem recursos do Fundo para custear obras e serviços de engenharia na Educação Básica. Porem, é necessário que sejam respeitadas as exigências legais, como o mínimo de 70% para pagamento dos profissionais da Educação e a execução direta dos pagamentos a fornecedores.

O Fundeb é a principal fonte de financiamento da Educação Básica no país. O Fundo conta com complementações mensais da União para fomentar maior equidade entre as redes de Ensino no Brasil. Os repasses são realizados pelo Fnde, seguindo os critérios estabelecidos na legislação vigente.
