Benefício vai alcançar 154 municípios no Estado

O Ministério do Desenvolvimento Agrário e Agricultura Familiar (MDA) começou a realizar os pagamentos do Garantia-Safra referente à safra 2023/2024 na terça-feira, 18 de março. No total, mais de R$ 670 milhões de reais serão destinados a mais de 558 mil agricultores em todo o Brasil. Apenas na Bahia, serão 214.459 agricultores atendidos.
A política, destinada a produtores com renda mensal de até 1,5 salário-mínimo cuja área plantada varie entre 0,6 e 5 hectares de feijão, milho, arroz, algodão ou mandioca, apoia agricultores familiares que sofreram perdas devido a eventos climáticos adversos, como secas e chuvas intensas, garantindo a segurança econômica e a continuidade da produção no campo.
O benefício é concedido aos agricultores e municípios que aderiram ao programa, quando há comprovação de perdas de pelo menos 50% da produção devido a fatores climáticos. O secretário de Agricultura Familiar e Agroecologia (SAF), Vanderley Ziger, destaca a importância do programa para mitigar os impactos da vulnerabilidade climática enfrentada por milhares de famílias, garantindo melhores condições para o planejamento da produção rural. “O Garantia-Safra é uma política essencial que oferece suporte para milhares de agricultoras e agricultores que produzem os alimentos que chegam à nossa mesa. Além de reduzir os impactos das perdas causadas pelas adversidades climáticas, o programa contribui para a permanência das famílias no campo e para a sustentabilidade da produção agrícola”, afirma.
Regularização
Os agricultores aderidos ao Garantia-Safra que tiveram o pagamento do Benefício preventivamente bloqueado, poderão apresentar defesa contra o bloqueio por meio do serviço Solicitar Requerimento de Defesa após bloqueio do Benefício Garantia-Safra.
As defesas poderão ser apresentadas em até 60 dias a partir do dia 18 de março de 2025, conforme prazo previsto na Portaria MDA n° 03, de 03 de abril de 2023. Já os motivos dos bloqueios podem ser consultados por meio de acesso ao perfil do beneficiário(a) no Sistema de Gerenciamento do Garantia-Safra.
Acesse a Portaria N° 319 de 14 de março de 2025, com a lista completa dos municípios. O pagamento do Garantia-Safra segue o calendário de pagamento dos benefícios sociais e será depositado em Conta Poupança Digital da Caixa Econômica Federal. Mais informações sobre o Garantia-Safra podem ser solicitadas à Secretaria de Agricultura Familiar e Agroecologia do MDA pelo e-mail garantiasafra.cgs@mda.gov.br ou pelo telefone (61) 3218-3319.
