Com um investimento de R$ 4,7 milhões, o Governado do Estado autorizou a antecipação do pagamento do auxílio-permanência do programa Mais Futuro, que contempla mais de 12 mil estudantes das universidades estaduais (Uneb, Uefs, Uesc e Uesc). O valor, que é referente ao mês de março, seria pago entre 5 e 10 de abril, mas estará disponível para saque na próxima segunda-feira (30/03). A iniciativa segue as ações realizadas pelo governador Rui Costa para minimizar os efeitos causados pela pandemia do novo Coronavírus (Covid-19).
O coordenador de Projetos e Programas Estratégicos da Secretaria da Educação do Estado (SEC), Marcius Gomes, falou da importância da decisão do governador Rui Costa pela manutenção dos pagamentos dos auxílios-permanências aos estudantes, diante da suspensão das aulas. “A partir do diálogo com os reitores e estudantes universitários, neste momento de crise no combate à doença Covid-19, estamos atentos às necessidades básicas que são impostas pelo isolamento e distanciamento sociais. Este apoio financeiro, certamente, irá assegurar a milhares de famílias, que em sua maioria são carentes, questões como a alimentação e outras necessidades”, afirmou.
O programa Mais Futuro, criado em 2017, oferece uma bolsa de R$ 300 para quem estuda a até 100 quilômetros de onde mora e de R$ 600 para os que vivem a uma distância maior, pois, para estes, há a necessidade de moradia temporária na cidade onde estudam.
