O Governo Federal anunciou recentemente um investimento significativo de mais de 7,9 milhões de reais para Guanambi]. Esta ação faz parte do Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento (PAC3) e de emenda parlamentar, que visa impulsionar o desenvolvimento urbano e social em diversas regiões do país.
Os recursos, segundo anunciado, serão direcionados para três obras estruturantes nas páreas de Saúde Pública, Educação Infantil e Infraestrutura Urbana.
Na área da Infraestrutura Urbana, o Governo Federal vai investir cerca de R$ 677 mil na construção de Praça e revitalização do Lajedo Novo, antiga fonte de água que abastecia a cidade, localizado entre os Bairros Santo André, Marabá, Santa Luzia, Monte Pascoal, Aeroporto Velho, Lajedão e Alvorada. As intervenções, uma antiga demanda da população, é uma conquista do mandato do vereador Paulo Sérgio Pereira Costa (PCdoB), que terá aporte de recursos de emenda parlamentar do Deputado Federal Daniel Gomes de Almeida (PCdoB/BA), no valor de R$ 420 mil, e contrapartida do Governo Municipal.
Na área da Saúde Pública, o Governo Federal vai investir R$ 2,6 milhões na construção de uma Unidade Básica de Saúde (UBS), Porte 2. A estrutura da Unidade obedecerá ao projeto arquitetônico de referência de arquitetura e engenharia do Ministério da Saúde, destinados à Atenção Primária de Saúde. As obras serão financiadas com recursos do Programa de Aceleração do crescimento 3 (PAC3).
Na área da Educação Infantil, Guanambi vai ganhar uma nova Creche em Tempo Integral, no Bairro Alto Caiçara, com objetivo de ampliar a oferta de vagas no Ensino Infantil no município. A Unidade, com capacidade para atender 188 crianças, cuja estrutura obedecerá aos padrões do Fundo Nacional de Desenvolvimento da Educação (Fnde), do Ministério da Educação, vai oferecer um espaço moderno e adequado para o desenvolvimento educacional desde os primeiros anos de vida.
A construção da Creche em Tempo Integral vai exigir investimentos da ordem de R$ 4,7 milhões, financiados com recursos do Programa de Aceleração do crescimento 3 (PAC3).
O anúncio gerou expectativa entre os moradores da cidade, principalmente da população dos Bairros do entorno do Lajedo Novo, que a muito tempo vêm reivindicando a revitalização do espaço histórico que está abandonado pelo poder público.
O Programa de Aceleração do Crescimento – PAC3, que tem sido uma ferramenta importante para o desenvolvimento de diversas cidades brasileiras e continua a mostrar sua relevância na promoção de melhorias e na busca por uma sociedade mais justa e igualitária. A expectativa é que, com a execução desses projetos, Guanambi continue consolidando seu processo de desenvolvimento e promovendo a melhoria da qualidade de vida para sua população.
