O Ministério Público do Estado da Bahia, por meio do Centro de Autocomposição e Construção de Consensos (Compor), firmou na quinta-feira (15), um acordo com a Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia para assegurar a regularização do fornecimento dos medicamentos utilizados na Hormonioterapia do Processo Transexualizador para a população atendida pelo Ambulatório Transexualizador do Centro Estadual Especializado em Diagnóstico, Assistência e Pesquisa (Cedap/Sesab).
Segundo a Promotora de Justiça Márcia Regina Ribeiro Teixeira, do Centro de Apoio de Direitos Humanos do Ministério Público da Bahia, o acordo evidencia o compromisso da Secretaria de Estado de Saúde da Bahia em solucionar a questão do desabastecimento de medicamentos, garantindo uma importante conquista para que as famílias e adultos atendidos possam dar continuidade aos seus tratamentos de Hormonioterapia. A Promotora de Justiça destacou que o Ambulatório Transexualizador do Centro Estadual Especializado em Diagnóstico, Assistência e Pesquisa da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia atende cerca de mil pessoas, das quais aproximadamente 500 fazem uso contínuo da Terapia Hormonal. “Assim, o acordo não só evidencia a disposição da Secretaria em solucionar a questão, mas também evidencia a eficiência do trabalho mediado pelo Compor, que possibilita pactuações sem a necessidade de Ação Judicial”, destacou a Promotora de Justiça Márcia Teixeira.
Durante o encontro, o Médico Karlos da Silva Figueredo, titular da Superintendência de Atenção Integral à Saúde, da estrutura da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia, anunciou a autorização de um Procedimento Administrativo Emergencial para a aquisição de quatro medicamentos essenciais à Hormonioterapia. Essa iniciativa, explicou o Superintendente, visa atender à demanda de forma rápida e garantir a continuidade do tratamento oferecido pelo Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS) às pessoas trans em acompanhamento.
A Promotora de Justiça Márcia Teixeira ressaltou que a Terapia Hormonal é um passo fundamental para alinhar o corpo à identidade de gênero da pessoa. “O desabastecimento pode causar prejuízos à Saúde Física, Mental, Econômica e Social dos assistidos”, enfatizou.
Além da Promotora de Justiça Márcia Regina Ribeiro Teixeira, participaram da reunião que culminou no acordo os Promotores de Justiça Rogério Luís Gomes de Queiroz, Coordenador do Centro de Apoio Operacional dos Direitos Humanos (CAODH); a Coordenadora Administrativa Catarine dos Santos Pereira, do Centro de Apoio Operacional da Saúde (Cesau); bem como representantes do Centro da Superintendência de Atenção Integral à Saúde, da Diretoria da Rede Própria e da Coordenação Executiva do Grupo de Atuação em Saúde e Educação Coletiva da Secretaria de Estado da Saúde da Bahia.
