O governador Jerônimo Rodrigues Souza (PT), acompanhado dos secretários de Estado da Saúde, da Educação e da Segurança Pública da Bahia, Roberta Silva de Carvalho Santana, Rowenna dos Santos Brito e Marcelo Werner Derschum Filho, respectivamente, realizou, na manhã do sábado (24), uma visita a Nova Canaã para anunciar e entregar diversos investimentos e equipamentos em áreas essenciais para o município. Ao todo, os investimentos somam mais de R$ 1,8 milhão, abrangendo Saúde Pública, Educação, Infraestrutura Urbana, Rural, Segurança Pública e Habitação Popular.
Saúde Pública
Na área da Saúde, foram entregues duas novas ambulâncias que reforçarão o transporte de pacientes em situação de urgência e emergência nos Distritos de Itajaí e Icaraí, além de um veículo (Van) destinada ao Serviço de Tratamento Fora do Domicílio (TFD). Também foram entregues equipamentos hospitalares e três kits para Unidades Básicas de Saúde (UBS). O governador autorizou ainda a cessão de equipamentos hospitalares ao Hospital Municipal Edmir de Souza Costa e a formalização de convênios para reformas na Unidade de Saúde do Programa Saúde da Família José Bruno dos Santos, na região do Clemente, e para reforma e ampliação da Unidade de Saúde do Programa Saúde da Família Veleda Pires Nascimento, localizada no Bairro Oseas de Andrade, na sede municipal.
Segundo a secretária Roberta Santana, esses investimentos fortalecem a Rede Pública de Saúde local, melhorando as condições de trabalho dos profissionais e ampliando o acesso da população a serviços de qualidade, humanizados e eficientes.
Educação
Na Educação, foi entregue o Colégio Estadual de Tempo Integral Florestal. A Unidade de Ensino, 81ª nova sede (de Colégios Estaduais) entregue pelo governador jerônimo Rodrigues, reforçou, como apontou a secretária de Estado da Educação da Bahia, Rowenna dos Santos Brito, o compromisso do Governo da Bahia com a Educação de inclusiva, com qualidade e equidade, que valoriza os profissionais, servidores e estudantes, além de reconhecer e celebrar as habilidades e diversidade de talentos individuais de cada aluno. “Este espaço, que já contribuiu para a formação de tantas gerações, agora recebe um significativo investimento, projetado para oferecer Educação Integral e preparar nossos jovens para o futuro profissional. Mais do que uma construção, esta Escola simboliza um compromisso com o progresso, a qualidade do Ensino e a ampliação de oportunidades para todos na Bahia”, afirmou a secretária Rowenna dos Santos Brito.
Com um investimento de aproximadamente R$ 16 milhões, o novo Colégio Estadual de Tempo Integral Florestal conta em sua estrutura com 10 salas de aula, dois Laboratórios – um de Ciências e outro de Informática – Sala Multifuncional para Atendimento Educacional Especializado (AEE), Biblioteca, Teatro com capacidade para 200 pessoas, Restaurante Estudantil, Setor Administrativo, espaço para o Grêmio Estudantil, pátio coberto, quadra poliesportiva com vestiário, além de infraestrutura como reservatório de água, subestação de energia e guarita.
Ainda na área da Educação, o governador autorizou a Secretaria de Estado da Educação da Bahia e adotar as medidas necessárias para cessão de um Ônibus Escolar para a Secretaria Municipal de Educação de Canaã.
Segurança Pública
Na área de Segurança Pública, Jerônimo Rodrigues inaugurou uma Unidade Integrada que abriga as sedes da Delegacia Territorial de Polícia Civil vinculada à 21ª Coordenadoria Regional de Polícia Civil do Interior, e Posto Policial Militar da 8ª Companhia Independente de Polícia Militar.
Com um investimento de mais de R$ 2,4 milhões, as novas instalações oferecem salas modernas, espaços de convivência, Setores de Protocolo, Planejamento, Inteligência, Monitoramento 24 horas e acessibilidade para Pessoas com Necessidades Especiais (PNE).
ressaltou a relevância das novas sedes da Delegacia Territorial de Polícia Civil e do Posto Policial Militar de Nova Canaã como parte do Programa de Modernização das Estruturas de Segurança, com investimentos significativos para aprimorar as condições de trabalho dos Policiais Civis e Militares e para fortalecer o combate à violência. Segundo o secretário Marcelo Werner, essas iniciativas garantem um atendimento mais eficiente à população e reforçam a Segurança Pública no Estado.
Infraestrutura Urbana
Na área da Infraestrutura Urbana, foi entregue a Praça Paulo Costa, no Bairro Florestal, construída com um investimento de aproximadamente R$ 1 milhão pela Secretaria de Desenvolvimento Urbano e a Conder. A Praça visa melhorar a qualidade de vida dos moradores, oferecendo espaço de convivência e lazer.
Infraestrutura Rural
Ainda na área da Infraestrutura, o governador assinou autorizações para formalização de convênios para execução de obras na zona rural.
A Secretaria de Estado de Infraestrutura de Transporte, Energia e Comunicação da Bahia foi autorizada a adotar as providências necessárias para elaboração do Projeto Técnico para pavimentação asfáltica do trecho da BA-645 entre a sede municipal e o Distrito de Itajaí.
A Companhia de Desenvolvimento e Ação Regional (CAR), autarquia da estrutura da Secretaria de Estado do Desenvolvimento Rural da Bahia, foi autorizada a adotar as providências necessárias para celebração de convênio com a Prefeitura Municipal para construção de três pontes, localizadas nas regiões da Umburana, das Pombas e do Rancho Fundo.
Habitação Popular
Por fim, foi autorizada a construção de 50 unidades habitacionais no município, com o objetivo de atender à demanda por moradias, promover o desenvolvimento local e melhorar a qualidade de vida da população. Essas ações fazem parte do esforço do Governo do Estado de promover a interiorização do desenvolvimento, gerar empregos e estimular o crescimento sustentável na região.
O governador destacou que esses investimentos reforçam o compromisso do Governo do Estado em promover melhorias na qualidade de vida, fortalecer a infraestrutura e impulsionar o desenvolvimento econômico e social de Nova Canaã.
A iniciativa, concluiu o governador, reforça o compromisso do Governo do Estado em promover a interiorização do desenvolvimento, o crescimento sustentável e atender às necessidades da comunidade.
