O Programa Corra pro Abraço, iniciativa do Governo do Estado por meio da Superintendência de Política sobre Drogas e Acolhimento a Grupos Vulneráveis, vinculada à Secretaria de Estado de Assistência e Desenvolvimento Social da Bahia, iniciou neste mês uma série de atividades nas Escolas da Rede Pública Estadual de Vitória da Conquista. Em parceria com as entidades Comunidade Cidadania e Vida (Comvida) e Cipó (Comunicação Interativa), o Programa tem como objetivo promover a cidadania e assegurar direitos a populações em situação de rua, pessoas que fazem uso abusivo de drogas e jovens em situação de vulnerabilidade social e econômica.
Em Vitória da Conquista, profissionais do Programa estão visitando salas de aula do Ensino Médio para apresentar suas ações e esclarecer sobre políticas e estratégias voltadas à juventude. Segundo Jéssica Graciano Souza, Supervisora de Campo do Programa, “a receptividade dos jovens tem sido muito positiva. Ao fornecer informações, percebemos o quanto isso é importante para eles e seu entusiasmo em conhecer mais sobre as oportunidades oferecidas.”
Dentre as políticas que têm despertado maior interesse, aponta Jéssica Souza, destaca-se o ID Jovem, que oferece benefícios como meia-entrada em eventos culturais e esportivos, além de passagens gratuitas ou com desconto no transporte coletivo interestadual para jovens de baixa renda. “O Programa está vinculado ao Cadastro Único”, explica Jéssica. “Muitos jovens que encontramos nas Escolas já possuem o Cadastro, mas ainda não têm o ID Jovem. Quando orientamos sobre como baixar o Aplicativo e os benefícios disponíveis, eles se sentem valorizados, pois percebem que são oportunidades que realmente lhes interessam.”
As atividades nas Escolas continuarão até o final de maio e também incluirão a exibição de documentários que abordam a experiência da juventude negra e periférica, com o objetivo de promover debates sobre o direito à cidadania e a realidade dos jovens em Vitória da Conquista.

O atendimento ocorre de segunda a quinta-feira, das 8h30 às 12h.
