O Ministério da Saúde lançou nesta segunda-feira (16), em Brasília, o Painel Saúde da População Negra. A plataforma – disponibilizada em totens durante o seminário Equidade Étnico-Racial nas Redes de Atenção à Saúde – conta com dados e indicadores sociodemográficos de morbidade e de mortalidade específicos para a população negra.
Durante a solenidade, o secretário substituto de Informação e Saúde Digital da pasta, Paulo Sellera, destacou que a proposta é transformar dados em informações confiáveis e em indicadores que possam ser acompanhados sistematicamente.
“O painel permite termos o georreferenciamento dessas informações, além de gráficos de acompanhamento de séries históricas e tabelas”, especificou.
A ferramenta conta com três eixos principais: enfrentamento ao racismo; características sociodemográficas; e morbidade e mortalidade da população negra. Para Sellera, indicadores da população negra, quando comparados aos da população em geral, demonstram que “precisamos melhorar muito no atendimento à saúde em vários locais do território nacional”.
“Em particular, o eixo morbidade e mortalidade da população negra traz [dados] sobre mortalidade materno infantil, indicadores de sífilis congênita e gestacional, doença falciforme, violência, tuberculose e morte prematura por doenças crônicas não transmissíveis”, citou. Todos os números, segundo ele, foram validados pela Secretaria de Vigilância em Saúde e Ambiente.
Demanda antiga
Em nota, o Ministério da Saúde informou que o painel era uma “demanda antiga” de movimentos sociais negros, que vai permitir o monitoramento e a avaliação do processo de implementação da Política Nacional de Saúde Integral da População Negra.
A ferramenta apresenta indicadores de enfrentamento ao racismo produzidos a partir dos resultados da Pesquisa de Informações Básicas Municipais (Munic) e da Pesquisa de Informações Básicas Estaduais (Estadic), realizadas em 2021, e de busca por termos-chave presentes nos Planos Municipais de Saúde, através do Sistema Digital dos Instrumentos de Planejamento (DigiSUS), do quadriênio 2021-2024.
“Pesquisas apontam que os adoecimentos e mortes por causas evitáveis, assim como as taxas de mortalidade materna, infantil e fetal, são maiores entre mulheres e crianças negras e indígenas. O quesito raça/cor, embora seja preenchido, é pouco utilizado como categoria de análise em saúde”, destacou o Ministério da Saúde.
Acrescentou que o racismo figura como um determinante social da saúde “que atrapalha ou impede o acesso a cuidados e serviços, influenciando na utilização e qualidade da assistência prestada”.
