No último sábado (29), Palmas de Monte Alto sediou o 1º Encontro de Produtores de Leite, um evento que reuniu agricultores, especialistas e representantes do setor para discutir e promover a capacitação e o fortalecimento da cadeia leiteira no município. O encontro, promovido pelo Serviço Brasileiro de Apoio às Micro e Pequenas na Bahia (Sebrae/BA), com apoio do Serviço Nacional de Aprendizagem Rural da Bahia (Senar Bahia) e da Prefeitura Municipal de Palmas de Monte Alto, através da Secretaria Municipal de Agricultura, Meio Ambiente, Comércio e Indústria, teve como palestrantes José Espínola Sobrinho, Jorge Luiz da Cunha Viana Júnior e Aysllan Harlley Rodrigues Pereira, que abordaram temas importantes para a melhoria da produção de leite, como manejo de pastagens, nutrição animal, saúde do rebanho e tecnologias inovadoras. O Consultor e Médico Veterinário Jorge Luiz da Cunha Viana Júnior, destacou em sua palestra a importância da capacitação contínua. Reforçou que a produção de leite não é apenas uma atividade econômica, mas também uma responsabilidade que exige investimentos em conhecimento como forma de garantir a qualidade do produto e a sustentabilidade do negócio.
Um dos principais objetivos do encontro foi fortalecer a cadeia leiteira local, promovendo a integração entre os diversos elos, desde os produtores até os consumidores, apresentando iniciativas para facilitar o acesso a insumos e tecnologia, além de discutir formas de melhorar a comercialização do leite.
A secretária municipal de Agricultura e Meio Ambiente, Comércio e Indústria, Maria Rosa Neves de Souza, destacou a relevância do evento, enfatizando que a colaboração entre os produtores e o suporte do poder público são fundamentais para superar os desafios do mercado e assegurar a valorização do leite produzido no município.
Produtores que participaram do 1º Encontro de Produtores de Leite de Palmas de Monte Alto compartilharam suas experiências e desafios enfrentados no dia a dia, destacando a importância de participar de eventos como este, onde tiveram oportunidade de aprender com outros produtores e especialistas, trocar experiências e encontrar soluções para problemas que enfrentam no dia a dia.
O Encontro de Produtores de Leite não só proporcionou um espaço para aprendizado e troca de experiências, mas também reforçou a importância da colaboração entre os diferentes atores da cadeia leiteira. Com o compromisso de capacitar e fortalecer a produção leiteira, os participantes saíram do evento motivados e com novas ideias para implementar em suas propriedades.
