O Departamento de Repressão e Combate ao Narcotráfico (Denarc), com apoio da Coordenação de Operações e Recursos Especiais (Core), cumpriu nesta sexta-feira (12) dois mandados de prisão e dois de busca e apreensão contra Josevan Dionísio dos Santos, o “BZ”, identificado como o Nove de Ouros do Baralho do Crime da Secretaria da Segurança Pública da Bahia (SSP-BA).
BZ é apontado como o executor do homicídio da líder quilombola Mãe Bernadete Pacífico, ocorrido em 17 de agosto de 2023, no território do Quilombo Pitanga dos Palmares, em Simões Filho. Na ocasião, homens armados invadiram a residência da vítima, que era coordenadora da Coordenação Nacional de Articulação de Quilombos (Conaq), e a executaram dentro do imóvel.
Durante a ação, realizada em um imóvel na cidade de Simões Filho, o investigado manteve como reféns a companheira e os dois filhos. As equipes da Core iniciaram negociação estratégica que garantiu a libertação das vítimas sem ferimentos e a rendição do homem. Uma pistola calibre 9mm, de fabricação turca, com numeração raspada foi apreendida.
De acordo com as investigações, a motivação do crime está relacionada à resistência da vítima contra a expansão do tráfico de drogas em territórios tradicionais. Mãe Bernadete era uma voz ativa na defesa dos direitos humanos e denunciava a atuação de facções criminosas na região.
No inquérito, seis pessoas foram indiciadas pelo homicídio. Cinco já foram presas e diligências continuam para localizar o último envolvido, conhecido como “Maquinista”, que permanece foragido.Além do assassinato de Mãe Bernadete, Josevan também é investigado por integrar grupo criminoso atuante em Simões Filho e região, envolvido em roubos, tráfico de drogas e homicídios. Ele foi conduzido à sede do Denarc, onde passou pelos exames legais e permanece custodiado à disposição da Justiça.
