No domingo (02), Dia de Finados, a Prefeitura Municipal de Brumado lançou uma iniciativa inédita voltada ao acolhimento emocional e social das famílias que visitaram os cemitérios Senhor do Bonfim e Jardim Santa Inês para homenagear seus entes queridos. A ação, coordenada pela Secretaria Municipal de Desenvolvimento Social e Cidadania, instalou estandes nos dois locais com atendimento psicológico gratuito e suporte social.
A proposta teve como objetivo oferecer apoio às pessoas em situação de luto, proporcionando um espaço de escuta, orientação e conforto. Equipes compostas por Psicólogos e Assistentes Sociais estiveram disponíveis durante todo o dia, atendendo visitantes que buscavam não apenas homenagear seus familiares, mas também lidar com a dor da perda.
Segundo a secretária municipal de Desenvolvimento Social e Cidadania, Magaly do Carmo Alves Rodrigues, a ação simboliza a presença humana e sensível do poder público em um momento de grande fragilidade para muitas famílias. Ela destaca que foram montados estandes – na Praça Senhor do Bonfim e outro no interior do Cemitério Jardim Santa Inês – com profissionais preparados para oferecer uma palavra de apoio, acolhimento e consolo. “É uma forma de resgatar valores e estar ao lado da população em um dia tão significativo”, pontuou a secretária.
A iniciativa foi bem recebida pela comunidade, que elogiou a presença da equipe e a atenção dedicada aos visitantes. Muitos relataram que o gesto trouxe conforto e reforçou o sentimento de cuidado por parte da Administração Municipal.
A ação da Secretaria Municipal de Desenvolvimento Social e Cidadania se soma às melhorias realizadas nos Cemitérios da cidade, que passaram por requalificação estrutural e paisagística, reforçando o compromisso da gestão do prefeito Fabrício Abrantes (Avante) com a valorização da memória e o respeito aos cidadãos brumadenses.
