O Selo Editorial Studio Palma apresenta ao público novas vozes da literatura baiana durante a Bienal do Livro Bahia. As escritoras Joana D’Arck Cunha Santos, Gilmara dos Santos Belmon Bomfim e Jealva Ávila Lins Fonseca, agenciadas pela casa, ganham destaque na produção contemporânea com lançamentos que valorizam a poesia e as narrativas poéticas.
As autoras participam do evento com obras que marcam uma nova etapa em suas trajetórias literárias. Já conhecidas por publicações em gêneros como crônicas e contos, elas estreiam agora no formato de livros de poesia. Entre os destaques estão Feito íntimo (2026), de Joana D’Arck, e Florescer (2026), de Gilmara Belmon.
No campo da prosa, Jealva Ávila lança Sob as estrelas (2026), obra ilustrada pela própria autora. O livro propõe uma experiência sensorial ao integrar texto e imagem em um mesmo fluxo narrativo, configurando-se como uma publicação de caráter afetivo e contemplativo.
Os lançamentos ocorrem no estande do Studio Palma (Asa A/14), com sessões de autógrafos das escritoras. As obras permanecerão em exposição ao longo de toda a Bienal do Livro Bahia, que será realizada entre os dias 15 e 21 de abril, no Centro de Convenções de Salvador.
De acordo com a sócia-diretora do Studio Palma, Ester Maria de Figueiredo Souza, responsável pela curadoria das obras, o Selo Editorial prioriza a publicação de textos de poesia e contos escritos por mulheres. A iniciativa também aposta em parcerias com Editoras baianas como estratégia para ampliar a circulação e a visibilidade das produções.
Segundo Ester Figueiredo, o modelo de publicação consorciada contribui para diversificar a presença de autoras no cenário literário, fortalecer suas trajetórias e aproximar a produção independente das Editoras locais, consolidando-se como um diferencial no mercado editorial baiano.
Entre a objetividade da notícia e a sutileza da ficção, a escritora baiana Joana D’Arck Cunha Santos constrói uma obra marcada pela memória e pela reinvenção do cotidiano. Jornalista de formação, ela transita entre gêneros literários com naturalidade, dando voz às experiências comuns e às emoções que atravessam a vida. Autora de Entrelinhas e Afetos (2020) e Vida que Segue (2023), Joana amplia agora sua produção com o livro Feito Íntimo, em que se dedica à poesia. Jealva Ávila Lins Fonseca é escritora e artista visual. Nascida em Salvador ( BA), formou-se em Arquitetura na Universidade Federal da Bahia. Imprime um mote de experiências e traços de uma trajetória múltipla, na sua escrita, atuando em projetos que unem criação, beleza e propósito. No entanto, é na literatura que ela encontra sua voz mais profunda, um lugar onde a palavra se torna abrigo, oração e reencontro.
