No Setembro Amarelo, mês de prevenção ao suicídio, a Psicóloga e CEO da Mental One, Aline Graffiette, chama a atenção para os grupos mais vulneráveis: adolescentes e idosos. “Nos adolescentes, o risco está associado à ansiedade típica da fase e à dificuldade de enxergar um futuro concreto. Já nos idosos, a desesperança é o principal gatilho”, explica.
Segundo a Especialista, a chave está em observar mudanças bruscas de comportamento. “Não é porque o jovem é quieto que isso é sinal de alerta, mas se antes era extrovertido e passa a se isolar, ou se alguém retraído começa a ter explosões incomuns, precisamos ligar o sinal vermelho”, afirma.
Aline reforça que o isolamento, a recusa de convites e a mudança no padrão de interação social são sinais que não devem ser ignorados. “O suicídio é a única decisão sem volta. Muitas vezes, quem está no sofrimento não enxerga alternativas, mas quem observa de fora pode ajudar a mostrar que existem outras saídas”.
