Ampliar o repertório cultural através de outras formas de conhecimento é, também, parte da missão do Vestibular Uesb. Por isso, tradicionalmente, o processo seletivo seleciona obras literárias e cinematográficas que integram os conteúdos cobrados nas provas. Para o Vestibular 2026, três livros e três filmes foram listados.
Entre os livros, os candidatos precisarão conhecer mais sobre “Tchau”, de Lygia Bojunga; “A Invasão”, de Dias Gomes; e “Mata Doce”, de Luciany Aparecida. A escolha das obras foi feita pelas áreas de Literatura da Uesb, localizadas no Departamento de Ciências Humanas e Letras (DCHL) e no Departamento de Estudos Linguísticos e Literários (Dell).
“Tchau”, de Lygia Bojunga, reúne quatro narrativas transitando entre o realismo e o fantástico. Lançado em 1984, o livro é composto pelos contos “Tchau”, “O bife e a pipoca”, “A troca e a tarefa” e “Lá no mar”. Com uma linguagem poética e sensível, a autora aborda temas como perda e luto e mostrando como a memória, a fantasia e a aceitação são importantes para lidar com a ausência e seguir em frente.
“A Invasão” é uma peça teatral escrita por Dias Gomes, que foi encenada, pela primeira vez, em 1962. A obra retrata a angústia e a luta de moradores de uma favela carioca ameaçada de despejo por uma construtora. Temas como a especulação imobiliária, a organização popular e a busca por dignidade em meio à opressão, culminando em um desfecho que questiona a verdadeira “invasão”, integram a trama do livro.
Mais recente dos títulos, o romance “Mata Doce” foi lançado em 2023 e é ambientado em um cenário rural e místico. Luciany Aparecida nos leva a conhecer a jornada de personagens femininas que habitam na região da Mata Doce, um lugar de segredos, rituais e memórias ancestrais. A narrativa explora a oralidade e elementos da cultura popular, trazendo temas como matriarcado, cura, conexão com a natureza, entre outros.
No universo do cinema, os filmes escolhidos são produções com direção de profissionais vinculados à Uesb, sejam professores, técnicos ou profissionais formados no curso de Cinema e Audiovisual. Os títulos são: “Amoras”, de Patrícia Moreira e Cornélio Cunegundes; “Alice dos Anjos”, de Daniel Leite Almeida; e “Coleção Preciosa”, de Rayssa Coelho e Filipe Gama.
Em “Amoras”, ficção lançada em 2014, Robertinho é levado pela sua mãe para passar uma temporada na casa de sua avó, que mora isolada no campo e que, até então, ele não havia conhecido. Mas o que o garoto não sabia é que uma estranha criatura ronda aquela casa e que, a partir do momento em que ele entrasse, não poderia mais sair. “Amoras” mostra a construção de afeto e de superação entre as personagens e transita entre o real e o imaginário tanto da avó com os seus monstros quanto de Robertinho e suas inseparáveis revistinhas em quadrinhos do seu super-herói favorito, o Capitão Torpedo.
Já em “Alice dos Anjos”, filme de 2022, a trama tem início no quintal da casa da avó de Alice dos Anjos, no sertão nordestino. É lá que ela encontra um apressado bode preto usando terno e gravata. Tentando alcançá-lo, a menina cai em um buraco e é transportada para um mundo mágico, repleto de personagens malucos e muitas aventuras. Em uma livre e divertida adaptação de “Alice no País das Maravilhas”, o filme combina diferentes figuras e temas do imaginário brasileiro à clássica história de Lewis Carroll.
O documentário “Coleção Preciosa” fecha as produções escolhidas para este ano. No filme de curta duração, lançado em 2021, será possível conhecer mais sobre o técnico em refrigeração Ferdinand Willi Flick, morador de Vitória da Conquista, que dedicou mais de cinco décadas a cultivar sua grande paixão: o cinema. A relação entre ele e a sétima arte resultou em uma impressionante coleção de itens de cinema, que ele chamava de “Coleção Preciosa”.
A curadoria dos filmes é feita pelo projeto “Cinema: Eis a Questão”, coordenado pelo Janela Indiscreta Cinema e Audiovisual. A partir do dia 1º de agosto, os candidatos poderão assistir, gratuitamente, “Amoras” e “Coleção Preciosa” no YouTube do Janela Indiscreta e “Alice dos Anjos” no Vimeo da Umbuzeiro Filmes.
Vestibular 2026 – Com coordenação da Comissão Permanente de Vestibular (Copeve), o processo seletivo será aplicado nos dias 30 de novembro e 1º de dezembro e o Instituto Avalia será a banca responsável.
