A Associação Nacional de Fabricantes de Produtos Eletroeletrônicos (Eletros) divulgou nesta segunda-feira (10) que a indústria nacional de eletroeletrônicos registrou um aumento de 13% nas vendas no primeiro semestre de 2023 em comparação ao mesmo período do ano anterior. Foram vendidas 44,02 milhões de unidades nos primeiros seis meses do ano, em comparação com 39,07 milhões de unidades vendidas no mesmo período do ano passado.
Segundo a Eletros, esse crescimento, que vem sendo registrado desde janeiro, interrompe um ciclo negativo no setor, que havia enfrentado 18 meses consecutivos de queda. O presidente executivo da Eletros, Jorge Nascimento, afirmou que, se o desempenho do setor se mantiver dentro da média histórica no segundo semestre, é possível prever um crescimento anual entre 4% e 6% em relação a 2022.
No entanto, Nascimento ressaltou que os juros altos ainda representam um dos principais obstáculos para a retomada das vendas no setor. Com a taxa básica de juros (Selic) em 13,75% ao ano, ele afirmou que os produtos de grande porte, como geladeiras, televisores, fogões e máquinas de lavar roupas, que são predominantemente vendidos por meio de financiamento, são particularmente impactados.
A air fryer, ou fritadeira a ar, foi o produto de eletroeletrônicos com o maior crescimento nas vendas no primeiro semestre de 2023, registrando um aumento de 85% em comparação com o mesmo período de 2022. A linha branca, composta principalmente por geladeiras, fogões e máquinas de lavar roupas, teve um aumento de 4% nas vendas no primeiro semestre de 2023 em comparação com o mesmo período do ano anterior.
As vendas de aparelhos de ar condicionado apresentaram um aumento de 16% em comparação com o mesmo período de 2022, enquanto as vendas de televisões registraram um crescimento de 19% no primeiro semestre de 2023 em relação ao ano anterior.
A Eletros ressalta que esses resultados podem representar uma reviravolta nas expectativas da indústria, desde que se mantenham no segundo semestre. No entanto, Jorge Nascimento observa que é necessário avaliar se esses bons resultados são uma tendência duradoura ou se são apenas uma reposição de estoques pelo varejo.
