Vitória da Conquista se prepara para receber a primeira edição da I Feira Territorial de Agricultura Familiar, um evento que tem o incentivo de emendas parlamentares dos deputados Waldenor Pereira e Zé Raimundo e promete destacar a diversidade e a riqueza da produção agrícola local. Programada para ocorrer de 7 a 9 de dezembro no Centro de Cultura Camillo de Jesus Lima, a feira é uma oportunidade para agricultores familiares e empreendedores locais mostrarem os seus produtos.
O pré-candidato a prefeito, Waldenor Pereira, disse que “o objetivo do evento é fortalecer a agricultura familiar na Bahia, sobretudo, em Conquista e região, por isso, estamos tão felizes em apoiar a realização da I Feira Territorial de Agricultura Familiar do Sudoeste”
Em paralelo à feira, também será realizada a 7ª Semana de Agricultura Familiar e Camponesa e a 4ª Feira de Economia Solidária do Território Sudoeste. Ambas ocorrerão simultaneamente, proporcionando aos visitantes a chance de conhecer e apoiar iniciativas dos produtores de Conquista e região, e visam também promover uma reflexão sobre os desafios da área e debater sobre uma economia mais justa e sustentável.
Para Miro Conceição, professor do curso de Agronomia da UESB, “este evento serve para fortalecer o desenvolvimento da população que mora no campo e que é fundamental para atender as demandas de alimentos saudáveis e sem produtos químicos que as pessoas precisam” , afirmou Miro.
